Again

"Did you just- how- Ry didn't recognize you." I wasn't sure what to say but that realization hit me so that's what I managed to say.

"I've never seen Ry before."

"Now- I-" I took in a deep breath, "He knows who you are now, and he thinks we're dating. This is even more of a fiasco then I thought."

"It'll be fine, beautiful."

"Does Kakashi know?"

"Huh? Does he know what?"

"That you got shot." I gave him a look that was an obvious 'are you serious?' look.

"Yea, but the cops don't know."

My mind started working, "Sakura went to nursing school, but she dropped out, she was a class behind me."

"Yes."

"Is that why I was hired? My vast knowledge. Does Madara know about my link to the Shimura family?"

Obito was quiet for a moment, "As far as I know, he doesn't know about your connection. I can say that he hired you for multiple reasons." I nodded.

"I'm going to go take a bath and go to bed, Bito."

"Do you want me to come over?"

I picked up my clothes, my back still facing him, "No. Yes. I don't know." I groaned.

Obito suddenly wrapped his arms around my shoulders and held me close, "It'll be okay, beautiful."

"No sex."

"No sex." He agreed.

"Okay." I was getting to dependent on this man.

Obito moved away from me and grabbed a pair of loose sweatpants and pulled them on. As we left his penthouse, he grabbed his phone and my stuff off his island. I pulled my keys free from my bag and let us in my penthouse. We left our phones in the kitchen again and headed for my bedroom this time. Obito plopped himself on my bed and I shook my head at his childish behavior before moving into my bathroom.

I drew the hottest bath I could stand and stripped before stepping into the steaming water. After a few minutes, Obito passed into the room, picking up my trail of clothes and putting them in the laundry room. He came back and sat on the bench across from me at the vanity, he was facing me. I moved to where I was at the edge of the tub, head laying on my arms as I sweetly looked to the raven haired man.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Just trying time figure out how he was stupid enough to break your heart."

His words were surprising, to say the least, "Who?"

"Hatake."

"Hatake? Is that how you usually address your best friend?"

"When he's done something stupid, yes."

I closed my eyes and laughed softly, "Between your family and him, I'm surprised anyone still talks to one another."

"Kakashi and I didn't talk for quite a while actually. Few years."

"Would that happen to be while he and I were dating?"

"Correct. Also while Rin and I were dating."

"She left you for him?"

"I'm not actually sure what the timeline is, but they dated after she and I did."

"Then he moved back here, joined this police force, and dated her?"

"As far as I know."

"Why did she move away?"
