"Zabu!" I flew into the man's arms, the dog heeling beside his handler.

His chest shook with laughter as I hugged him. Zabuza Momochi. FBI agent. Sexy as hell. He was dressed in jeans, gun and badge on his hip, and a plain black t shirt, he was still delicious. Rogue, the Belgian Malinois titled his head at me as I stepped back.

"Rogue, I've missed you too." The 80 pounds of muscle pounced and I was pinned to the floor. Rogue started licking me immediately and Zabuza had to pull him off of me.

I left work an hour early because Zabuza said he'd be here at 4:30. I stood up, dusting myself off and smiled at the duo in my entry way.

"Fancy place." Zabuza mentioned as he walked in.

"Part of my contract for my job."

"What kind of a job?" Zabuza was always skeptical.

"There's a lot we need to talk about, but not here."

"Okay." I could hear the curiosity in his voice.

"Let me change."

"Want some help?"

I rolled my eyes and headed to my bedroom. I tossed on some capris and tshirt before slipping on some flats. Phone in my pocket, I headed into the penthouse to find Zabuza and Rogue on my couch.

"You let him on the couch now?"

"He won me over."

"Rogue, heel." Rogue quickly came to my left side and we waited for Zabuza before we walked into the hallway.

Zabuza and I faced the door as I locked it, but a growl caught our attention. I turned quickly and saw that Obito and Shisui were coming down the hall.

"Rogue, friends." Rogue whined and looked back at me. "Friends." I repeated.

"Gorgeous?" Shisui asked as they stopped, still several feet away.

"Zabuza, this is Shisui and Obito Uchiha, I work with them. This is Zabuza, a friend from Kiri." I moved to crouch next to Rogue and put my hand on his head. "This is Rogue. He's police trained, so I suggest you play nice."

"What's his attack word?" Obito asked curiously.

"Not so fast, slick. Only Y/n and I know his command word."

"He wouldn't listen to you anyway." I added. "We're going for a walk."

Obito cut his eyes to Zabuza's hip. "You know Kakashi?"

Asshole. "Yea, we were partners. You were his college roommate?"

"Yes." Obito nodded.

"I'm meeting him for drinks later." Zabuza said, "He wanted me to bring you along." He elbowed me.

"Of course he did." I mumbled.

"You haven't talked to him?" Obito asked.

"Not since Monday when he came to the office. Why?"

"Obito." Shisui whispered in warning.

"Rin said they went to dinner last night, before her shift."

"You don't know when to let shit go, do you?" Shisui spoke.

"Rogue, warn." Rogue stood and began growling, making the ravenette tense. "Heel." Rogue stopped and moved back to my side. "All three of you are grown ass adults, want to have a love triangle, be my guest. It won't be a rectangle though, leave me out of it."

"I just wanted you to know. He broke your heart once, I don't want him to do it again."

"Guess the two of you have something in common then." The second I said the words, I regretted them. I started walking away. "Rogue." The canine immediately followed and Zabuza trailed behind. I never looked back, and never gave someone the opportunity to question my words. Until the elevator doors closed.
