"It reminded me of the waters in Hawaii..and I know you're not one for colorful things but it reminded me of the ocean and you love the water and sea turtles so I thought tha-" he was rambling so I cut him off with a kiss as I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him into me, I pulled away and started laughing 
"You need to learn when to shut up. It's perfect, and I love it. He laughed "yes.. but I meant take a picture of us and the ring and send it to our friends. They've all been helping me come up with ideas on how to ask so I know they'll want to know as soon as possible"

"Deal" he pecked my lips and pulled out his phone, we snapped a selfie of us smiling with my hand on his chest showing off the ring. He sent it in our group chat and then posted it on facebook
