Chapter 54

SURPRISE 
Jimin POV 

I woke up before my alarm, I reached for Sarah but her side of the bed was cold..like she didn't even sleep next to me. I know I fell asleep next to her..
"Shhh Jax, daddy needs sleep buddy" I heard Sarah whisper as she tiptoed into the room, I smiled as she moved as quietly as possible to get her clothes from the dresser while Jax pulled her hair to keep himself entertained, she didn't even flinch while he pulled on her pink strands that fell out of her messy bun. 
"Dada" Jax mumbled
"Yes, dada is sleeping" she smiled and kissed his cheek as she closed the dresser drawer and tiptoed back out of the room making sure to shut the door quietly. 
To some people this might not seem like much. 
But to me, it means everything. 
I know she's tired.
I know she's exhausted.
I know she's probably been up and down with Jax all night until she finally gave up sleep so that our son could be comfortable and I could sleep for work. 
I know that even though she's drained she's still going to make me breakfast before I leave for work and smile at me as she kisses me goodbye.
This amazing woman literally gives every piece of herself to my son and I. 
And she never expects anything in return. 
I smiled as I got out of bed and got my suit on, I wore the pale yellow tie that she loves with my all black suit and made my way down the stairs, I watched her as she flipped my pancakes and mixed Jax's oatmeal with fruits. 
God, I could watch her move all fucking day. 
Have you ever just looked at someone, and couldn't take your eyes off of them? 
It's like love at first sight all over again every single morning. 
"Good morning baby" I said as I made my presence known and stepped into the kitchen, I wrapped my arm around her waist and kissed her temple. 
"Good morning love" she smiled up at me and pecked my lips making me smile wider "your coffee is on the table the way you like, pancakes are almost done oh! And I made you a lunch last night because I got that bomb ass cheese stuff you like so I figured you'd want to take it with you" 
"Are you trying to seduce me before work Mrs Park?" I gasped and covered my chest dramatically, making her laugh, I smiled while the butterflies swarmed my body. 
Every single time she laughs the butterflies attack my stomach like no one's business. 
It's not fair. 
"Maybe Mr Park, but I think your son wants your attention" she smiled and kissed my cheek, I smacked her ass making her jump as I walked over to my son in his height chair 
"Hi buddy" I smiled
"Dadada!" He squealed as he shoved a piece of strawberry into his mouth making me laugh. 
Maybe I'm biased..but my son is literally the cutest human being on the planet and you can not change my mind. I love this little boy so much, I didn't think my heart could contain so much love. 
"How'd you sleep my love?" I asked Sarah as I sipped my coffee and sat next to Jax 
"Ehh, Jax was up and down all night. I think we both only got two or three hours of sleep total" she shrugged 
"Why didn't you wake me up? I told you to stop doing that" I shook my head 
This girl never listens. 
"You needed to sleep for work, I can sleep when he takes a nap" she shrugged "I'll be alright" she smiled and sat my breakfast down in front of me. 
"Nice tie by the way" she winked at me making me blush 
I knew she would notice. 
"You only like it because of what I've done with it" I winked as she blushed and looked down at her coffee making me smile at her flustered state
"No" she denied "because it's my favorite color" 
"Mhmm" I smirked 
"Mama!" Jax squealed as he threw his spoon on the floor and giggled making me chuckle as Sarah sighed 
"I got it" I bent down and picked up his spoon, I rinsed it off in the sink and gave it back to him and sat down 
"No Jaxson, it's not funny" 
He giggled making me smile wide again
I'm going to be in big trouble the older he gets. I can't scold him properly when he's just so damn cute. He went to drop it again so I took it and sat it next to me, he laughed and stuffed his fingers into his oatmeal
"He's so cute" she smiled as she watched our son make a mess, the love in her eyes makes it hard for me to breathe sometimes. Rupert sat next to me and watched Jax eat, at seven months old my son has figured out that Rupert will eat anything he gives him. He will purposely drop food and laugh as the giant dog licks it up off the floor. 
"Thank you for breakfast my love" I smiled as I finished my food 
"Of course" she smiled and finished her coffee "good luck with the new contract today" 
"Thanks, it should be pretty easy. With any luck I'll be able to leave early" 
"I hope so!" She smiled and bounced in her seat a little making me chuckle, I leaned down and kissed Jax all over his face making him squeal as he grabbed at my face
"Dada! Dadadadada" he squealed 
"Daddy loves you buddy, behave for mommy okay?" I booped his nose and walked over to Sarah "I love you" I smiled, her cheeks dusted pink making my heart melt. Even after all this time she still blushes over that. 
"I love you too" she smiled and we kissed for a bit before I walked out to my car and headed into the office. I hate leaving my family. If I could, I would literally stay home with the two of them every single day. 
I parked my car and walked into the office
"Good morning Mr Park" the new receptionist said with a smile 
"Good morning" I smiled
"Mr Jeon asked me to give you this" she handed me an envelope
"Ah, thank you" I opened it as I walked towards my office
