"Are you angry at me?" Luke questioned again for the thirtieth time today.

I twisted the end of my red lipstick and colored my lips carefully, "No Luke." My answer was the same every time he asked.

He was evidently frustrated at my one word response, but what did he expect?

Luke had deliberately once again, ruined my chances with Rylan and to make everything worse he was bringing another girl...not that I cared but still.

"I know you are furious with me, Don't forget I can read your thoughts." He simply reminded me while he buttoned his long white shirt. Where he got one had left me clueless but after I had finished with my shower, there he was in a fanciful shirt, surprisingly black pants and dress up shoes.

Rylan had insisted that we all dine at one of the most expensive restaurants in all of Seattle. Thoughtful of Rylan it was, but at the same time I much rather have a simple movie date then a five course meal.

"Stop, you know that I have increasingly become annoyed with your little power over me." I demanded. Part of me wanted to rip his head of for one interrupting my date, for two invading my mind, and for three looking amazing without even trying.

A noticeable contrast was intended with the black widowed eyeliner and my blue eyes. I tried to smoothened my mascara but it ended up clumping again.

With a frustrated groan, I wiped it off. Everything, me, this date just everything had to be perfect tonight that being and that included my make up.

My dress was simple, black with straps. Minutes ago I loved it. But now I utterly hated it, my frame was too small and I looked disproportionate. And my hair was all over the place. Eariler I tried to make into a single braid up it ended up failing, leaving small strands of my hair to loom out.

It was wrong all wrong and I couldn't stand not being in control.

"Luke can you undo the zipper?" I requested without patience.

In seconds, Luke was behind me, "What's wrong?" But I felt as if he asking me something deeper then his intent.

"I don't feel beautiful." I whispered trying to tug on the zipper because he clearly he wasn't making no effort to aid me.

He grabbed my hands and interlocked his fingers with mine as he guided them to my stomach. He nestled his head on my shoulder, "That's absurd, you are insanely beautiful in my eyes. I'm so envious of Rylan at this very moment."

...

The setting included the ones with the multiple forks and spoons that no one ever knew the real reason for the excessive need. Strange, they were all different sizes yet they had the exact same purpose.

Rylan and Melody sat on one side of the round table and Luke and I were seated on the other.

The air was uncomfortable. Melody's eyes were glued on Luke whose attention was captivated on me. I was trying to create conversation with Rylan but he seemed too busy glaring at Luke.

I silently thanked the waiter who broken the mute war.

He placed down everyone's meal, mine being a simple broth. Luke frowned and motioned at the waiter as he whispered something in his ear. The worker nodded and took away Luke's steak.

"What? Not good enough for your pallet Hemmings?" Rylan snarked, as began digging into his pasta. It must have been offensive to him since this was his family's restaurant.

"No, everything looks great." Luke compliment with a knowing smirk and bit into a bread stick.

The waiter returned with half of his steak cut. He then placed the separate plate with the other half on my side.

Luke graciously thanked him and the waiter parted ways.

"I'm not hungry Luke." I whispered toward him to make sure no one else heard. But I doubt anyone else could sense Rylan and Melody were enthralled in their discussion.

"You have only eaten an apple today sweetheart. It's an hundred dollar piece of meat, you might as well enjoy it." He ensured my placing a hand on my thigh.

I unwillingly cut into the protein. Slowly the taste traveled into my mouth. Might I say it was delicious and I ended up devouring my entire portion within minutes.

I immediately regretted that decision as I earned, what I thought, condensing glanced from both Rylan and Melody.

The feeling reoccurred in the pit of my stomach. Before I knew it I found myself in the bathroom, in front of the toilet.

His hands held my hips and hoisted me up before I could even shove my finger down my throat.

Tears loomed into eyelids as he still held me, "Don't fight me back on this but we are leaving."

And this time I didn't.
