"What's happening?" asked Ben.

"Shhh! I can't hear anything!" hissed Gally.

"Shut up both of you!" snapped Minho.

(G/N) didn't expect to hear that from Newt. At first, she thought she maybe heard wrong or that it was all in her head. But Newt repeated what he said.

"(G/N) I have a crush on you."

"Is she saying something?" Gally asked.

"I knew Newt wasn't supposed to do this," Minho covered his face with his hands.

"I can't watch," said Ben.

Run.

(G/N) wanted to run. To run away from Newt. But that wouldn't be nice or fair. But what was she supposed to say? Oh my gosh what the shuck is happening. She was frozen in place. As much as she wanted to sprint away, she couldn't.

"I'm not saying this because I want you to like me back," Newt started.

Minho groaned.

"It's because I wanted you to know," he finished.

(G/N) looked at him with confusion. "Why?"

This wasn't the first confession that she's received. She's had one or two but she always let them down easy. She knew the right words to say. But now with Newt, she's tongue tied.

"I wanted to be honest with you."

Stop talking.

"I can't- I can't lie to you."

Please.

"I can't hide this from you."

Stop.

"Newt," she covered his mouth, "stop for a minute. Please."

"This is it," Ben said, "Newt's gonna get rejected."

"No he won't," Gally retorted.

Minho looked at him with disbelief. "You really think he won't?"
