I took another bite of my three cheese mac and cheese. Then set my fork down and sighed. I looked down the empty table and sighed.
A tear slipped down my cheek slowly, but I quickly wiped it away and stood up.
"Clear the table, please," I said.
Drones floated into view and began to remove the items on the table.
I walked down the living room and down a set of stairs to where my lab was. I walked over to the large, curved desk and pressed my palm to it.
A large holographic display appeared over it.
"Sir, what are you doing?" Smoak asked.
"Trying to figure out a way to navigate it."
"The Quantum Realm? But you told the-"
"I know. But...if there's even a small chance that I can get them back, I...I need to take it."
      "Anything I can do?"
"Bring up some blank item boards, please."
Several tabs appeared and I began to add and change things around.
I played with the idea for several hours.
"Error, sir. That won't work out either."
I looked down to the desk and wandered over the items on it. My eyes landed on the picture frame next to my computer.
Charlie, Mj, Ned, me, and...Peter, hanging upside down off the back of the couch.
I cocked my head a little as equations began to run through my mind.
"Okay, one more before I'm done. Try it in the shape of an inverted Möbius strip, please."
"Processing..."
I played with the hologram then pointed to a specific part.
"Give me the eigenvalue of that particle, factoring in spectral decomp..."
"Just a moment, sir."
I nodded.
I looked down to the desk and scanned the photograph again.
I looked back to the hologram.
"Model created, sir."
The screen of my computer displayed 'Model Successful'
"I-"
I fell back into my chair.
"Sir, I do believe we just figured out time travel."
"I think we did."
"What are you going to do?" he asked.
"...Go to bed."
"What? After everything we just did, you're going to bed?"
"I'll head to the base tomorrow."
"Just so you know, I have confirmation that Dr. Banner has entered the compound as of tonight."
"Oh, God..." I mumbled. "If I know Bruce at all, he's gonna think about this as a Gamma Scientist...and that's not good."
"Why?"
"He'll overlook the EPR Paradox, which could cause any number of side effects to them. They could turn him into a baby, an old person, a teenager...it'll be catastrophic."
"So you need to interfere."
"Yes. I'll make sure to go tomorrow, I just...I need to sleep."
"Yes, sir. Goodnight."
I turned everything off, then exited my lab and walked up the stairs to the main level.
I went through the living room, where Elliot was laying on the couch.
I pat my leg and he jumped down to follow me. I walked up to my room and undressed crawling into bed.
Elliot lay in the spot next to me, I ran my fingers through his fur a few times before turning the lights off.

"Sir? Your father is requesting access to the house at the gate," Deha said.
"What? Uh, yeah, let him in," I said, rubbing my eyes.
I got out of bed and pulled on a pair of black, ripped jeans and a white t-shirt.
I quickly fixed my hair in the bathroom before jogging down the stairs and to the front door.
I swung open the door to reveal my father, a black Audi coupe behind him.
"They came to you too, didn't they?"
"Yeah."
"You turned them down?"
"Yeah. But I... couldn't stop thinking about it. I figured it out, dad."
He nodded, "Me too. I'm headed there now. Wanna come with me?"
I hesitantly nodded then beckoned him inside.
He stood in the entryway. I grabbed a pair of bright yellow running shoes from the closet and tugged them on, then grabbed Thor's black jacket off a hangar, sliding it over my shoulders. It was a little big, but I still wore it whenever I left the house.
"Deha?" I said.
She appeared before us and my dad jumped a little.
"Keep an eye on Elliot for me, okay? The usual... feed him, let him out to go to the bathroom, maybe use the drones to play with him a little, just keep him alive and well till I get back."
"Yes, sir. I will keep Elliot alive and well, and I will make sure that the house is taken care of."
"Impressive..." my father said.
I walked into the kitchen and began to fill a water bottle.
"Smoak, bring up project 167."
"Yes, sir."
"And," I sighed. "...bring up Unit 3."
      "...Yes, sir."
      Two drones arrived.
One with a small contact case and one with a small metal box. I took both and opened the box, revealing my newest nanoparticle housing unit. I attached it to my chest and my father smiled a little.
"I'm ready," I said grabbing the water bottle.
"Let's go," he said. "God knows what Banner's done to them already."
"Yeah, Smoak told me they recruited him. You know he's gonna overlook the EPR Paradox, right?"
"Yeah, exactly, I wouldn't be surprised if he turned into a baby. Instead of pushing Scott through time, you end up-"
"Pushing time through Scott," I said.
      "Exactly."
"Did you use the inverte-" I started.
"Inverted Möbius strip? Yeah. Did you substitute the eigenvalue of particle 364, factoring in spec-"
      "Spectral decomp, yeah," I said.
      He smiled at me.
      "I've missed you," he said.
      "I missed you too."
"You know who misses you? Morgan. You stopped by, what? Three times? And suddenly all she ever wants to do is see you."
I looked at my feet, "Yeah. I'll have to stop by again."
"Look, I know it's hard. And I know she's only your half-sister, but she looks at you as her big brother. You're...eighteen now?"
I nodded slowly.
"I was sixteen when you first came back from Titan...then, I was awake for the next year, I like to refer to that as the Dark Year...I went through some stuff. I was frozen for the next three years, then Smoak unfroze me. He told me that you had a daughter and that you had been wondering where I was. So I stayed out of cryo. It's been a year since then, so...yeah, I'm eighteen now."
"God. I missed your eighteenth birthday...wow. Anyway, you're eighteen now. I can't tell you what to do, but I want you to look at Morgan as your sister.
"I do. It's just- I don't know...it's weird. Losing so many people, but then bringing a whole family together," I said. "Once this is over, I'll make sure to stop by more often, okay?"
"She'd love that...and I'm sure Pepper would too, she misses you too. She looked at you as a son, Y/N."
I nodded and he met my eyes.
      "No glasses, huh?"
"Nope, not today," I said holding up the contact case.
      "Seems like a downgrade?"
      "Believe me, it's an upgrade."
I opened the case and pulled out a contact, angled so he could see it.
"Is that a...no way. And that's a- wait, oh..." he said as he inspected it, "You put all that in a contact lens?"
I nodded, then used the mirror and put both the contacts in. My vision became blurry as things inside the contacts began to move.
"Adjusting..." Smoak said into my earpiece.
My vision cleared up and I could see well again.
      "Activate all programs," I said.
A number of holographic items came into my vision. There was a time in the corner and boxes attached to the radio and other parts of the car. They scanned my father's face as I looked over at him, a destination appeared in the other corner.
      "Minimalize."
The vast amount of things in my vision condensed until it was just the time and the destination.
      "Clear."
Everything disappeared until it was just a contact.
"I miss working on projects together," he said.
"Well, it looks like we're about to work on our biggest one yet."

The tire's of my father's car squealed as he sped down the road and turned down the road, then again as he turned sharply into the driveway. I saw Steve standing just outside the door.
He drove up right next to him and passed him by a few feet, the reversed so the window was lined up with him. He slowly rolled it down.
"Why the long face?" my dad said. "Wait. Let me guess: he turned into a baby."
Steve sighed, "Among other things, yeah. What are you doing here?"
He got out of the car and I followed suit on my side.
"It's the EPR Paradox, Y/N and I discussed it on our way here. Instead of pushing Lang through time, you might've wound up pushing time through Lang. It's tricky," my dad said.
"Dangerous," I added.
"Somebody could've cautioned you against it,"
my dad said.
"You did. You both did," Steve said.
"Oh, did we? Well, thank God we're here. Well...regardless, I fixed it," he held up his hand, showcasing his new device. "A fully functioning time-space GPS. I just want peace. As it turns out, resentment is corrosive and I hate it."
"Me, too."
"We got a shot at getting these stones, but I gotta tell you my priorities. Bring back what we lost, I hope, yes. Keep what I found, I have to, at all costs. And maybe not die trying would be nice."
I made my way around the car and stood next to my dad, facing Steve.
They shook hands.
"Sounds like a deal," Steve said.
My father contemplated something, then made his way to the trunk.
He opened it and pulled something out, tossing some of Morgan's toys off of it.
He held Cap's shield out.
Steve sighed, "Tony, I don't know."
"Why? He made it for you. Plus, honestly, I have to get it out of the garage before Morgan takes it sledding."
I smiled, as Cap put his arm through the straps.
"Thank you, Tony," Steve said.
"Will you keep that a little quiet?" Tony said gesturing to the shield and then to me.
"We didn't bring one for the whole team," I said.
"We are getting...the whole team, yeah?" my dad asked.
"We're working on that, right now."
My dad cocked an eyebrow.

After we headed into the base and Tony and I discussed our plans, we met in the hangar and began to plan the construction.
"Y/N," a voice called out.
I turned around to see Nat in the doorway.
"A word?" she said.
I cast a glance at my dad and he nodded once, then gestured for me to go ahead.
I walked away from the blueprints and over to the door. Nat turned around and led me into the meeting room, there were papers and documents scattered about.
"You know, I gotta hand it to you, you said three years ago that we would figure it out, it was just taking a little while. You were right. We're getting there."
I smiled and looked at the ground, then back up to her, shrugging.
"What can I say? It's not something you can learn..."
"Yeah, yeah...you called it. But that's not entirely why I called you in here."
"Why did you call me in here?"
"I need your help with something. We're pulling the team together and we need your help getting them to come here," she took a deep breath. "It's... we need you to get-"
"Thor. You need me to get Thor," I said.
      "Yeah."
"Nat...I haven't spoken to Thor in years. When he le-"
"I know. We haven't heard from him for that long either. From what I have heard, he's not doing well. If anyone can make him come back, it'll be you."
I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair.
"Who else is going and when?"
"Banner and Rocket, they're taking Rocket's ship. Leaving in the next ten. Banner already knows you might be coming."
I tossed the idea around, biting my lip.
      "Fine. I'll go."
"Thank you, Y/N. Let me know how it goes."
She returned to her duties and I left the room. I walked our the front door and saw Hulk walking towards the spaceship with a bag slung over his shoulder.
Nebula passed me on her way into the building and I saw Rhodey land in his suit.
Scott was sitting at a table eating a taco. I jogged over to the ship, where Rocket was about to close the door.
"Hey, wait up. I'm coming," I called out.
"Move it or lose it, kid. You're letting the bugs in," Rocket said.
I smiled and jogged up into the ship.
"Hey, Y/N. Long time no see," Bruce said, bringing me into a hug.
I gasped a little at the large, green man's tight hold.
"Good to see you too, Bruce."
"Oh, how adorable..." Rocket said in his scratchy voice. "Get to your seats, we're taking off. Blue, you're my copilot."
      "Blue?" I said.
      "Yeah, you know. Your suit?"
I was about to respond but just nodded and sat down in the seat next to him.
"Ready?" he called back to Bruce, before I inputed the coordinates and we took to the skies.
