(46) No Good Without You

So I walked slowly, still can't believe what I am really seeing as he did the same. Di ko na nga hinintay sila Ara eh. Kahit na magkaharap na kami, di pa rin nawawala yung ngiti nya. Yun nga ang nakakapagtaka eh, he is smiling like nothing happened which is why I'm afraid that maybe this is not real.

"Hey!" he greeted me.

"Hey!"

Hoo boy! This sure is real! C'mon Mela say something! Anything!

"I can't believe you're here! I was just about to meet someone and...here you are." He said.

"Uhmm, same here. And did I hear it right?? Baks??"

He bit his lip as if embarrassed over something and he's kinda blushing a little. Aww, Sammy. Ngayong nakita ko ulit siya, naalala ko na naman ang huling paguusap namin kaya lumabas na ang matagal ko nang gustong sabihin sa kanya.

"I'm sorry...for hurting you. I know kahit na di ako nagsalita noon, nakuha mo kung ano talaga yung sagot ko."

"I kn-"

"Please let me say this first. I admit, I still like Dan and yes may times na I favor him more than you. Pero gusto kong malaman mo na importante ka din sakin kasi you are one of my closest friends. I'm sorry if you feel like our friendship was slipping out. I know what it feels like to be left out and di ko gagawin sa 'yo yun, ever. I will never leave you, unless you want me to."

There was like a few seconds spared before he suddenly hugged me.

"No, no. Kahit kailan di kita aalisin sa buhay ko, what are you saying?! Nasaktan lang ako, pero di ko gagawin yung sinabi mo. And if YOU want me out of your life, di ko gagawin yun dahil mahalaga ka rin sakin."

I also hugged him tight, not minding the few people na nakakakita. I closed my eyes when a tear escaped from my eye. God, I really missed this guy!

"Yownnn! Yiee, okay na sila!"

Kumalas na kami sa pagyakapan nang lumapit na sila Majoy at Ara. Pinahid ko na yung luha ko baka sabihan na naman akong drama queen nung dalawa.

Ar: Buti naman natauhan ka na, Sammyboy! Kala ko magpapaka-drama queen ka din eh..este king pala!

S: Oo na oo na, natauhan na! Thanks to the two of you!

A: Huh?! Thanks to them?

S: Kinausap din kasi nila ako. (pointed the two girls) They made me think things over about us.

Hinarap ko yung dalawang bruha at ayun at naka- peace sign pa ang dalawa! Oh Lord, what would I do without them?! Syempre di lang si Sammy ang nakatikim ng yakap kundi pati din yung dalawa.

I'm so glad na okay na kami ni Sammy. Sa totoo lang, naninibago ako ngayon na may nagtampo sakin nang ganun katindi, at the same time masaya kasi ibig sabihin nun importante ako sa kanya. It really overwhelms me a lot na may isang tao na binibigyang importansya ang presensya mo, that you mean a lot to someone kaya I vowed to myself na hinding-hindi ko hahayaang mawala ang friendship namin ni Sammy, pati na din yung kela Majoy at Ara.

"Naku, smiling without a reason. Tsk tsk, masama 'to!"

I looked up sa pangangalumbaba ko dito sa pwesto namin sa Miniforest when Sammy came back clutching a coke on his hand and the other hand on his pocket. Turns out, kami pala talaga ang sadya ni Sammy dito. I just smiled widely at him, making him more curious with his furrowed brows.

"Alam mo as much as I want to say you're beautiful when you smile, it only creeps me out!"

"Bakit ba?! Eh nakita kasi kita kaya ako masaya. :)"
