"The Archer has sighted his target and his arrows are now in the hands of fate."

That is all that Shifu said when we returned to Kunlun, while also telling me to let it go and not to dwell too heavily on how things might turn out, because its out of my hands anyway.  So I did as ordered and put the entire ordeal down to an experience that may or may not produce fruit.  But still, it has been hard these past three weeks because I have heard nothing at all.  Not even a whisper in the hallways gives me an inkling as to what Liwei and Sang Ji might be up to, so I can't help but wonder if we failed, though if Shifu is thinking that, he certainly isn't showing it.

In fact, he is back to being just Shifu who is currently taking the little ones through their lessons while I am in the armoury helping Shanhu and Fu Yu to clean the weapons which is my duties this week and we are talking about that Goddess Muxian who has tried several times to visit with Shifu only to be turned back because Shifu is not taking visitors.  And right this very moment, she is outside the main gates and throwing a tantrum while also insisting that she will stay right where she is even if she has to sleep there until Shifu gives in and talks with her.

"I don't know who she thinks she is.  Shifu has made it very clear that he has no interest in her, why is she pushing the matter?" I ask which Shanhu laughs most heartily at.

"Xiaobai, you really are naive...." he splutters which only increases my curiosity, because now I sense gossip so I am all ears.

"Then kindly explain it to me ....  I want to know." I beg him with fluttering eyelashes that I ahve learned he is very much susceptible to, while Fu Yu hurries across the room to push his way into our conversation to listen seeing as he too can sense gossip, which he loves to spread just as much as this Disciple.

"Well....." Shanhu says lowering his voice and glancing over his shoulder to ensure we are alone.....  "She isn't the only one to throw a tantrum at the gates of Kunlun and let me tell you right now, she will not be the last....." he adds with another laugh.

"There are others?" I ask dumbstruck.  I mean I know Shifu has admirers, I've seen them for myself, but to actually lower themselves to this degree, is very hard for me to comprehend.

"More than I care to count.  In fact, one month, Shifu had over forty women lining up at the gates to talk to him about everything from magical weaponry one woman pretended to have invented only it didn't work, to another woman who complained about the height of Kunlun Mountain itself which was blocking out her veiw of the ocean which is several thousand miles away." he spluttered in a fit of laughter.

"And they all lined up at the gates for that?" I asked incredulously.

"Yes they did, and as you can see, it is still going on.  These Goddesses have no shame when it comes to Shifu, they will do absolutely anything to win his affections and though Queen Muxian is certainly far higher ranked than those of the past, she is no different to them in that her reason for her tantrum is just as fickle as the rest."

"Tell me what her complaint is Shanhu..... " I whisper squeal into his face as the laughter in me also begins to rise.  The thought that she was also bringing such a ridiculous complaint to Shifu just to see him, is far too hard for me to ignore, I just have to know what is so important that she would actually sleep outside the gates!

"She reckons she has stumbled on a secret plot so big, that she is positive Shifu will want to hear it." he says rolling his eyes as if she isn't the first woman who has arrived with the same excuse.

"She is going to sleep outside the gates because of a secret plot?  If its so big, why not take it to the Skylord or even Donghua Di Jun?" I ask shaking my head because throwing a fit over a plot as big as she says it is, makes no sense, which only has me realizing one thing.
