Leaving Mo Yuan to rest, I quietly tiptoe from our chamber knowing that he will not rise for at least the rest of the day.  I have completely worn him out and not only am I giggling at his crumpled form on the bed having taken every last ounce of salad dressing from him, but I don't think he will be hard again for at least a week.  He went completely crazy over the two of me and though I have to admit, it was the most fun I have ever had, I don't think I will be pulling that stunt again anytime soon, because I am just as tired as he is.

Only I do want to check on Ye Hua, and then maybe finish off the last of the manuscripts having almost reached the end.  Only the moment I enter my sons chamber, then his highly infectious laughter hits.  He is bouncing about on his bottom having found a love for his ball which he is playing with Mi Gu, so falling to my knees, I join in for the fun.

He is such an excitable child and so active, that the amount of energy I am expending in such a short time, soon has me falling onto my butt laughing while he continues to chase his ball about the room.

"Mama play!" he squeals as the ball is forcefully pushed towards by two chubby little feet.

"Ye Hua cuddle!" I counter laughing with my arms out towards him while also stunned at his second word.  One I hope Mo Yuan doesn't hear, because he is adamant our son is going to say Papa next.  In fact, I imagine he is going to be super annoyed.

"Play!" he yells louder while continuing to bounce about on his bottom towards Mi Gu who is now chasing after the ball.

Snatching at the chubby bundle before he can get away, I pull him in tight for a cuddle and a few tickles which sets off his laughter. And I continue until his arms are wrapping themselves around my neck to stop me.  I love these moments, they are so precious and even more so fleeting.  But I treasure them fondly and so for a time we cuddle while Mi Gu sets about cleaning the room.

"I want to take Ye Hua shopping later, so will you be alright to take care of him until then?" I ask lightly kissing the soft plump cheeks that are now smothering my face in an attempt to flee having grown bored already.

"Of course Gu Gu."Mi Gu replies with a broad smile.

"Good.  Though you're welcome to come if you want to, I just need to pick up some loquats from the market before we begin the trip back to Qing Qiu." I tell him, seeing as we will be heading home tomorrow morning to drop off the ship before cloud riding back to Kunlun Mountain.

Nodding his head with an even broader smile, I leave Ye Hua once again chasing his ball about the room and scattering everything again for Mi Gu clean while I disappear outside with the last of the manuals.  I really don't know what else there is left for me to read, but I am soon soaking up the sun and losing myself to a story I had no idea about.

My memories of the chaos is so deeply ingrained into my mind that I can see it clearly as if I am still there.  It is a place that I will never forget, and least of all the memory of what I think may  have been a soul dream.  A soul dream is similar to a regular dream that one has when they fall asleep, only this kind of dream is attached to the soul rather than the subconscious which regular dreams access.

This soul dream is one I have only had once before and it was a very long time ago when I was little.  I vaguely recall it, but I do vividly remember the scent that came with it.  Jasmine was a scent that my mother had loved and I do truly believe she had visited my dreams when I was little.  It was only the one time, but I have held onto that memory ever since because like I said, she only came once.

Or at least, until I had almost gathered my soul.  I had only a few pieces left to find before I could begin the fight out of there and with Xiaobais smile the only incentive I had to keep going, I began to feel as if I would actually succeed.  Only a familiar scent began to surround me.
