Its really quite amazing how easily I have fallen into being the War Gods women, because rather than being shy and intimidated by the fact that I will be marrying the most eligible bachelor in the world, I have kind of taken it in my stride, as something I was raised to become.  Not that I have changed any aspect of my disposition, because I don't think I have, but I am definfitely seeing myself as the future mother of his children and perhaps an assistant to his Disciples further down the track.

This is an enormous leap that I have taken in my stride and so when the time comes for us to finally leave what is now our home away from home, I have no qualms in informing my family, my Kunlun brothers or the rest of the world.  To me, this is merely an official duty, after all, Kunlun Mountain and Qing Qiu will become alliance partners, my people will become his people and the Celestials will become mine.

And so it is with excitement that we slowly begin to make our way back to Kunlun Mountain where Mo Yuan wants to inform my brothers before approaching my family, this is so they are all prepared for when my mother and Qing Qiu begin to descend on the Mountain to organize our wedding which is where he wants us to marry rather than the Celestial Heavens.  And I do too.  For me, Kunlun Mountain is where our story began and though I am not expecting any opposition to our marriage, I am definitely prepared for it.

And no sooner are we both at the entrance with my hand firmly tucked up in Mo Yuans elbow then my seniors are all there to greet me home.  Of course, I have only seen Shanhu since returning from my trial, so the happy faces and exuberant laughter at the sight of me and Mo Yuan together is rather contageous, because like them, I am just as ecstatic to be back among them all.

"Xiaobai, you sure know how to create an entrance." Chang Shan laughs which they are all nodding at.

"I really did wonder if Shifu would find you, seeing as none of us could." Ling Yu says s Cheng Bao moves forward to lightly tap my arm.

"We missed you, welcome home." he says with a beaming smile which I cannot help but return and with it comes the tears, because I wasn't expecting such an emotional return.  

"Where is Shanhu....?" I ask as Fu Yu suddenly appears before my face with a wide grin on his face and a piece of candy in his mouth which he has obviously stolen from the kitchen because the wrapper is actually stuck to his hair where he always tried to hide it.

"I'm here...." his soft voice calls from behind me which immediately has me turning to reach out and tap his arm, only the way Mo Yuan suddenly tightens his hold on my other hand, has my outstretched arm dangling awkwardly in midair.

"We are all here..." I say with a tight smile while giving Fu Yu a shake of my head seeing as Chang Shans attention has now fallen onto my little Sprite who is still as michevious as ever.

"We are, and I say this calls for a celebration." Ling Yu laughs and breaking the awkwardness as I drag Mo Yuan into the temple with my brothers taking up the sides.

And so the conversation takes over as we all catch up on what each of us has been up to over the long years.  Most of these brothers I have managed to keep in touch with, but being together under the one roof soon has us all in party mode.  The wine comes out and the laughter soars as I learn two pieces of information that only increases my happiness.

Cheng Bao has married his sweetheart, the same girl he used to meet in the low valleys, and it seems that Shanhu has picked up his love affair with the sister that he too used to sneak out to meet.  Of course I am happy for them both and for Shanhu especially, because I really thought I might have a problem, only it seems as if his interest in me was fleeting after all and that gladdens my heart.
