"Qian Qian..... how are you feeling?" Fu Yu asks as he hovers about my head with a worried frown on his face.

"Pffft!  I would be feeling wonderful had you not blown up my guts!" I reply sarcastically as he snuffles his little pink nose against my hair.

"I'm sorry Qian Qian.... I really didn't mean to, but those men......" his voice trails off as his little mind begins to darken at that memory.  In fact, he has been dwelling far too heavily on that night which was over a week ago, and though I understand his fear for my safety and his guilt at hurting me, I can't let him fall into a pit of despair, he's just too fragile and his little heart is close to breaking everytime he looks at me.

"HAA!" I laugh in his face....  "You just wanted to see guts and not only did you get to see some, you fainted!" I squeal laughing hysterically at him which instantly has his defences up and the look of concern falling away as indignation takes over.

"Well if it wasn't for me, you would have died along with them!  You ungrateful fox!" he spits back as a handful of my hair is grasped and my head roughly dragged to the side of my pillow.

"You scaredy cat!  You talk all tough but you're just a big cry baby!" I scream t him as his coat tail is yanked down hard and his little, but heavy body is tossed to the side of the room only to have him screeching back towards me with his fists clencehd and with tears in his eyes.

Suddenly the door is thrown wide and Senior Die Feng marches into the room with a look of death on his face as he glares at the both of us.

"What is going on in here?" he snaps angrily having heard the racket we were making and not looking too pleased with either of us.

"Nothing Senior..." I say feigning sleepiness.

"Nothing Shifu...." Fu Yu says also sleepily as he readjusts my hair about his body where he had dived just seconds before the door flew open.

Glaring suspiciously at the both of us, I feign a gaping yawn followed by a soft whimper that has my hand landing gently on my tummy.  Making sure to also wince and then sleepily blink before closing my eyes again, I hear a soft sigh, before his footsteps retreat and the door is once again closed.

Waiting for a couple of minutes, my hand instantly snatches at the head of hair sticking out from behind my ear and I pull hard.

"You little sneaky sad faced liar!" I hiss into his stunned green eyes and making him yelp.

"What the hell did I do?" he asks before swallowing hard.  In his eyes, my belly is the obvious reason for my annoyance, only my eyes sparkling with mischief and mirth.

"Your acting all sorry and sad when all you want to do was sleep on my pillow!" I seethe into those eyes that are widening by the second.

"I am not!  Stop lying!" he whisper yells back while his eyes quickly dart towards the door.

"This is how we ended up here in the first place!  If you would stop being a big sooky cat and sleep in your own bed, none of this would have happened." I chide him with a fake stern look while shaking his head about on his scrawny neck.

"I'm not a sooky cat!  You're the one that was on your butt crying when I was the one doing all the hard work!" he hisses back and making me angry for real.

"You're the one that hurt me, you little sooky  cat!"

"Take that back!"

"Sooky Cat!"

"Am not!"

"Sooksooksooksooksoooksook......."

"Ahhhhhh......" a long drawn out sigh erupts behind us and bringing me to an immediate halt and Fu Yu to dive back into my hair.   That sooky cat... I can hear him whimpering into my ear and I would have laughed having been proven right, only footsteps are now nearing the bed Im on.
