I am so sore, honestly, I wish to every High deity that I had never mentioned that damn magazine.  Now my husband has the bendy bug and is fully enjoying how far he can bend my body without it snapping.  I mean, I know that he is a highly sexual male and thoroughly enjoys new things and positions, but I am now in hiding in a water closet at the back of the kitchen and have been hiding here since this morning when he wanted me to bend backwards with my hands on the floor behind me.  Now I might be flexible, but I am not a contortionist, so the moment he fell asleep, I high tailed it out of there.

Now huddled into a large selection of cushions that I have dragged with me along with his books, a little wine and some snacks, I think I am set for the rest of the day, though I will sneak out for Ye Hua when I know Mo Yuan will be on the main deck with the captain having found a new material that can replace the cogs in my rudder.  And with that, we are onto the rudder which looks as if Mo Yuan has thoroughly detailed.

For the longest moment, I watch stunned as she explains a new kind of rudder that can propel a ship which not only utilizes simple materials, but with the right materials, it could in fact be considered a perpetual motion device.  I am gobsmacked and speechless, that for several minutes, I hold my tongue and just listen as she explains the placement of her cogs wheels down both sides of the ship, the elastic bands that are attached to the oars beneath the ship and how each alternating band winds up the one in front while unwinding behind it.  And once the oars at the front have been wound up, the cog wheels continue to spin their way back down the sides, to rewind them all over again.

I have never been so excited about anything for such a long time, that I am sitting here at the causeway watching a little ship, not much bigger than my hand, being propelled through the water by a simple little rudder with enormous ramifications for the entire Immortal World and I cannot help but feel immense pride in what that little girl has just given to Kunlun Mountain.

It is more than just a rudder that can move a ship without any need for fuels or combustible energy which in itself is remarkable.  But what she has actually created is a precursor to a weapon of great destruction and one that we alone have the knowledge of.  In fact, this rudder of hers is so technically advanced that I can actually see in my minds eye several weapons that I might even create in the future.

But for now, I am watching as her little ship continues on oblivious of itself while contemplating on how exactly I am going to turn this new creation into something far more useful and will have the whole world looking at her with news eyes along with one man in particular.

As a boy, I was often accused of obsessively holding grudges to the point of being unhealthy, only the thought of her father winning the Grand Race using underhanded methods when I should have won, has me wanting to use her invention to not only create a fleet of real ships that her own father had wanted desperately to create himself, but I will be entering her into the World Creators Convention where the brightest of minds compete for the young Inventors award.

It is a prestigious event which sees only the very best being entered, only I plan to see her ships unleashed on the world under her own steam to not only take the prize for Kunlun Mountain but to also see her fathers great disappointment in not having the foresight to listen to her when she had tried to give him this gift directly, only to treat her invention as mere child's play.

Well, this is his loss and Kunlun Mountains gain, so after a lot of preparations in the Mortal Realm where the ships will be built in order to keep them hidden, I then set about hiring a few talented Mortals to assist before disappearing for a few days to seek two very rare natural metals for the cogwheels, the bands and the oars.
