Leaving the children behind under Die Fengs strict care, I make my way back to the Celestial Heavens for a short meeting with Di Jun who is going to assist me with her father.  I have since learned far more of what has been happening in the Realms since her disappearance from the grove so I am on edge the moment I enter Taichen Palace where Haode is also waiting and he immediately asks for the girl as if actually thinking I will hand her over to him which is what he wants.

In no uncertain terms, I make it very clear, that she is my Xiaobai until her father comes to collect her, though Haode does insist on a fight to get his hands on her because by all rights, the Imperial Fox Clan are now being deemed as terrorists.  They have literally turned the entire East and North on its head, hundreds have been injured and hundreds more have died and all because of a wish she had cast on her birthday candle.   And it is for this reason Haode has deemed her a child of traitors and therefore a bargaining chip which he absolutely will use to get them under control, so I am in no doubt that she would not be safe and nor would she be treated kindly either.  So it is here that I inform both men of the wish that I also cast at the same time, and therefore placing myself at blame along with her.

Of course, neither men can accost me, and nor would they dare to try, but my words are enough to still anymore arguements regarding who she belongs to.  In fact, I also inform them both that she has been accepted as a Kunlun Mountain resident and if I have to, I will also make her a Disciple to ensure her safety which of course shocks the both of them seeing as no females are allowed to attend an all boy school, but I will break all protocols for her if it means keeping her safe.  Then again, I am the master and son of Heaven, my word is law in this matter anyway, so eventually they drop it which I knew they would.

Now listeing as I am informed of a Fox Clan spell in motion which has allowed Bai Zhi and his entire family to wipe out so many lives.  It is one I have only ever heard of, but never seen in motion, so I am excited to see it for myself, however, I know just how violent he can be when it comes to those he loves, I saw it first hand when he fought Zhe Yan for his Empress, so it is with a little trepidation that I am also informed that he is now at the northern border and about to cross over into the West.

So with that, Di Jun and I along with our own armies, take to the skies to head him off.  And it is while we are mid air and behind a privacy barrier that the sprite is finally raised by him.  I knew he would question me over his appearance and why he is on Kunlun Mountain, so I inform him truthfully of the sprites arrival with the girl and that he is a pet of some sort to the Foxes and the Peach Tree Grove which astounds him immensely.  He might not physically show his surprise, but having been raised with man, his eyes are where his emotional state can be read, and he is speechless.

As yet, I have not formed any definite conclusion about the sprite other than he is a pampered child, well loved by the Grove and Den combined and possibly the only one to exist in this world, seeing as I saw no others on my visit to the Grove which was the main reason why I took the girl there first.  So I inform Di Jun that he is possibly an outcast and was left to die, only he was found and saved.  He is an animated child, mischivious and highly opnionated, but this does not make him an enemy, though I keep my reservations to myself for now and it seems that Di Jun will too, or until we have spoken to both Bai Zhi and Zhe Yan.

Now heading into a dense area of the Northern forest where Bai Zhen has an estate, we don't have to send out any search teams, because the smoke rising in the distance is all the clues we need.  Not only are the Foxes flushing out every forest tribe and clan for miles, but they are literally setting the forest of fire to do so and immediately my anger rises.  Like I said before, Bai Zhi can be exceptionally unforgiving when it comes to those he loves, but this is unforgiveable.
