EXT. BLUE BASE - DAY
TUCKER is looking at TEX, who is now in Lopez's body (cobalt blue). SHEILA, the tank, is behind her, fully repaired. CHURCH is a ghost, hovering nearby. GHOST, CABOOSE, and LOPEZ (Lopez's actual consciousness) are also present.
TUCKER: (To Tex, a slight grin) Well, Tex, that was a great story. I especially liked the part about Church getting pantsed in high school. Very vivid.
CHURCH (AS GHOST): (His ghostly form flares, indignantly) I found that part to be entirely outta context, Tucker! It was a very embarrassing moment!
TUCKER: (Shrugs) But I still don't get how we're supposed to stop the A.I. O'Malley. He's in Caboose now.
TEX: (Her voice, though robotic, is firm) I don't remember much from the implantation process... It was a blur of pain and data.
Fades to some lab with all sorts of devices and machines, flashing lights and whirring sounds. A shadowy figure is working on Tex.
TEX (V.O.): I do remember that the A.I. can be transmitted from host to host, by way of the helmet radios. It's a very efficient, albeit dangerous, method. Before I learned anything else, the A.I. took over and we escaped. It was a chaotic mess.
Fade back to the blues.
TEX: If we can kill the A.I. and not give it a place to jump, we'll beat it. We'll trap it.
CHURCH (AS GHOST): (His ghostly form brightens) And then I can have my body back! Deal?
TEX: Deal. But you owe me. Big time.
CHURCH (AS GHOST): (To Tex, then to Tucker and Ghost) Alright. Tex and I will possess Caboose then. Ghost, Tucker, we need you to work on the Reds. Get 'em to turn off their helmet radios, so that O'Malley won't have anywhere to go, once we get him outta there.
TEX: Right. No escape routes.
TUCKER: (Eyes wide) What? How the hell am I gonna do that? They're not exactly cooperative.
CHURCH (AS GHOST): I don't know, Tucker, come up with a plan. You're the smart one. Sometimes.
TUCKER: (Groans) Come on, you know how I feel about plans. They involve thinking.
TEX: You're not gonna have much time once we get in there, so move fast. Speed is key.
TUCKER: (Sarcastic) Oh, I see. You have no idea what I should do or how I should do it, but whatever I do, I should do it fast. Very helpful.
CHURCH (AS GHOST): Yeah, that's right. Embrace the chaos.
TEX: Yep. Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.
TUCKER: Wow, you guys are a lot of help. My brain is already hurting.
CHURCH (AS GHOST): Try shifting your paradigm. Think outside the box. Be unconventional.
TUCKER: Hey, the box is there for a reason. I like thinking inside of it. I feel safe in there. It's predictable.
GHOST: (Flatly, a slight smirk under his helmet) I got an idea, Tucker. Trust me. I know them. This plan will work. It's foolproof. Mostly.
TUCKER: (Eyes wide, hopeful) Wait, you do?! A real plan?!
GHOST: (A pause) But our ears might bleed afterwards. And possibly our eyes.
TUCKER: (Immediately, shaking his helmet) I instantly don't like it. My ears are sensitive.
GHOST: It'll be fine. I have a backup plan... just in case the first one actually fails... (He mutters) It shouldn't, but it's good to be prepared.
CHURCH (AS GHOST): (To Tex) Okay, Tex, ladies first. You're the expert.
