“C'mmon eat.” nakangiting sabi ni Carson.
Nasa dining table kami ngayon para kumain. Aalis na rin kami in an hour. Inaantay nalang namin si Lucas. Si Carson pala ang client niya.
“Oyy! Kelan ka pa naging writer? May ipupublished ka talaga?”
“Yep. Di ko naman alam na si Lucas pala ang publisher.”
“Psch. Pabasa?” I pout my lips at nagpacute sa kanya.
“Argh! You're not cute! Stop it!” reklamo niya at umiwas ng tingin. Kinikilig lang to sakin eh.
“Sige na, Sige na! Sige na!” I repeated.
“Stop the pouting thing!” napatingin kami sa likod ni Carson.
Dumating na si Lucas at umupo siya sa isang chair na katabi ko. Psch, Naka ilang missed calls pa siya sakin kahapon.
“I'm here for your book.” casual na sabi ni Lucas kay Carson.
“I know.” Carson said and rolled his eyes. Sungit ng boyfriend ko.
“Ah, Lucas. Resignation Letter ko.” binigay ko yung isang sobre.
“We haven't finished the manuscript yet. I need an assistant publisher! Danny can't resign.” he replied.
Kunti nalang talaga magpatayan tong magkapatid na to'. Akala mo lion at tiger.
“Then find yourself a new assistant publisher Mr. Flores!” sartiskong sabi ni Carson.
“Then find your own publishing house Mr. Sanchez!” sagot naman ni Lucas.
Gosh, Nagkakainitan na naman sila.
“Okay guys, Pwede ba chill muna? Hindi naman to face to face.”
“SHUTUP!”
“SHUTUP!”
They both said in chorus. Okay, Eto na shut up na ko.
“I repeat Carson! Daniella can't resign!” now Lucas is shouting again.
“She will, Right Danny?” tanong ni Carson kaya tumango ako.
“You have no rights to make a decision, Carson! I am the owner of the publishing house and not you. It's my job to decide who I am going to fire or not! So no! I don't accept the resignation!” sabi ni Lucas at pinunit ang resignation letter ko.
Damn it!
“You will accept the resignation. Whether, you like it or not!” sagot naman ni Carson.
Hinila ni Carson ang kamay ko nang pupukin naman ni Lucas ang lamesa ng malakas.
“No! I won't.” hinila ni Lucas ang isa ko pang kamay.
Shuta, Mukha na kong scarecrow!
“Let go of her, You jerk!” sabi naman ni Carson at hinila ako ng malakas.
“I won't.” tapos hinila rin ako ni Lucas.
“Damn it! Let go of me! Hindi ako lubid!” iritang sabi ko.
“You can't resign, Danny! We have a contract!”
“She will resign because she wants to! Damn that contract, Do you want me to tear it infront of you?! ” sabi naman ni Carson.
“SHUT UP!”
Pumagitna na ako sa kanilang dalawa. “It's still my decision, okay? Bakit ba kayo nag-aaway! Personalan na ata to eh. For sake, Ano ba! Magkapatid kayo alam niyo ba yun?!”
