Lucas' POV
Since I don't want to cancel the engagement, Danny ends up sleeping on the sofa. I just looked at her and sat infront of the couch.
“Hey. Wake up!” I poke her shoulders.
“Hmmm?”
“I said wake up, Bee.” I repeat.
“I'm sleepy.”
“Hey, Wake up! Transfer on the bed.”
Dahil ayaw niyang magising ay dahan-dahan ko siyang binuhat. I carry her like a bride. Well, Actually siya naman talaga ang bride ko.
Inayos ko ang higa niya at kinumutan. I kissed her forehead before I left the room. “You're mine, Danny. Only mine.”
Bumalik muna ako sa sala at inayos ang flow ng plot ng story. I just can't believe that Carson is my client. To be honest, He's better than my skills.
I rearrange the manuscrpipt na binigay ng proofreader na si Mia. Look at this, May typo na naman. Kung di lang siya kaibigan ni Danny matagal ko na siyang finire.
I was busy typing on my laptop when Luke's mom called me. I answer the phone at sumandal sa sofa.
[“Lucas.”]
“Why? Do you need something? I already did my job. What about yours?”
[Too many questions. . But— About that . . Resort wedding ang gusto ni Danny. Yellow din ang kulay na gusto niya for the wedding. Okay ka na ba doon?]
“Resort Wedding? H-ha? Anong ibig mong sabihin?”
[Maganda daw ang place na yun for reception. Ano, Game ka?]
“Everything's fine with me. I just call you kung okay na ang lahat. Basta for now, prepare everything. I'll make sure she'll say yes.”
[Be ready, Lucas. It's just the start.]
“What do you mean? Tinatakot mo ba ko?”
[Well, Were you scared? Be ready for upcoming events, Mr. Flores. For now, She's back.]
Nabitawan ko ang phone ko at nalaglag ito sa sahig. I won't let that happen again!
Danny's POV
Nagising ako at nakita kong gabi na sa bintana. Gosh, I'm sleeping again. Hinanap ko ang phone ko pero di ko ito makapa.
“Kuya Sam! Anong oras na?” sigaw ko pero walang sumasagot kaya nagtalukbong ulit ako ng kumot.
“Kuya Sam! Anong oras na!” sigaw ko ulit.
Hindi siya sumasagot kaya napaupo na ako sa kama. I open my eyes and just realized na nasa condo pala ako ni Lucas. Oh, Gosh! Oo nga pala!
“It's 6:30 PM, Bee.” pumasok siya sa kwarto at umupo sa kama.
“Anong B-bee?! Gosh! Bakit di mo ko ginising?!”
“Your parents called me. They're worried.”
“Oh, Anong sabi mo? Sinabi mong natutulog ako?!”
Pinakita niya sa aking ang phone at ang picture kong nakahiga sa kama. Argh! Epal.
“I tried to wake you up pero ayaw mo bumagon. So, Pinicturan nalang kita.”
“Anong sabi nila?!”
“Sleep well? Hindi ka daw masusundo ni Kuya Sam. Malaki ka na! Umuwi ka mag-isa and plus! Galit na naman sila sakin.”
