Chapter 36

Lucas' POV

Nauna akong bumaba dahil nadeliver na yung boquet na inorder ko sa flower shop kanina. I know na allergic si Danny sa tulip kaya roses ang kinuha ko.

Binayaran ko na ang delivery man at bumalik na ako sa entrance ng publishing house.

I once saw a couple hugging there and the girl really looks like Danny. Psch, Whatever. I just hug her later.

I just realized everything when they parted from the hug. Kinurap ko pa ng ilang beses ang mata ko. From the face, the hair, the height and clothes. I'm not mistaken, It's really her.

Danny saw me from my spot and he sudden pushed the guy away. Nabitawan ko ang bulaklak na dala-dala ko. Ang tanging nagawa ko lang ay magkuyom ng palad. 

“Bee!”

Agad akong lumapit sa kanila at agad kong sinunggaban ng suntok yung lalaki. Sinandal ko siya sa pader at hawak-hawak ko ang collar niya. Lalo pa akong nairita nang makita ko ang mukha niya. Damn! It is Chaster!

“Why are you hugging my woman, you son of a btch.?” I bit my lower lip. Darn, Lucas! Suit yourself! Don't cry!

“She hugs me first. Dude, Don't touch me! Check it for yourself.” tinulak niya ako at pinagpagan niya ang damit niya. He even pointed the surveilance camera above. I smiled bitterly.

“Bee, It's just a misunderstanding. I can explain.” tinapik ni Danny ang balikat ko.

“The first thing you need to do when you're in a relationship is to trust each other. Be careful, Landon. Daniella is not an ordinary girl. She's a girl that any other guy wished for.” Chaster gave me a smirk.

“Binalik ko lang ang sandals ni Danny na tinapon niya kagabi. Let's just meet tomorrow. By the way. .” lumingin siya kay Danny at saka siya ngumiti.

“Bye. . Bee!” he emphasized our endearment and winked at Danny. A-Hole. He's pain in the ass.

Danny's POV

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako kinakabahan. Kami nalang ni Lucas ang natira dahil umalis na si Chaster. I don't know what to do. Kakausapin ko ba ngayon si Lucas o magdadahilan nalang ako?

“Lu—”

“I know.” he stops me. “I'll take you home.”

“Pero paano yung dinner date natin?”

Ngumiti siya sakin at saka tumalikod. “I'm tired. Let's just do it tomorrow.”

Nauna na siya maglakad kaya ko siya hinabol. I'm wearing a stilleto sandals that's why it's hard to run. Nilagay ko ang kamay ko sa ulo ko dahil biglang tumulo ang malakas na ulan. Wala akong pakialam kung mababasa ko. My bee's angry so I have to say sorry.

“Bee!” I called him. Nakita ko ang paghinga niya ng malalim at huminto siya sa paglalakad. We're both standing on the rain. I'm totally soaked in water.

“I told you to go home. Come with me, I'll get you a cab.” he grabbed my arm. Tinanggal ko ang pagkakahawak niya sa braso ko at hinawakan ko ang kamay niya.

“Lucas, Akala ko talaga ikaw yun. You look exactly the same from behind.”

“I never ask you to explain.”

“But you're upset so I have to.”

Pinunasan ko ang tubig na tumutulo mula sa mukha ko. We're always like this and I don't want to leave him like before. We're together for years. We can fix this, I promise.
