Lucas' POV
“How much?” seryosong tanong ko. Nilabas ko ang tseke ko at tanging ngisi niya lang ang sumalubong sakin.
“What do you mean how much? Pera ba ang usapan natin dito? Gusto mo bigyan pa kita?” Chaster said sarcastically.
“Akala ko ba may utang sa inyo si Samuel? Ako na ang magbabayad tantanan mo na si Danny.” pinukpok ko ang lamesa.
“Chaster, This is not a joke. There are so many girls out there. Danny's not a trophy for you to achieve.” sabi ni Carson.
“I like her.”
“Eh bakit nga kailangang siya pa? What's with the marriage? Are you fcking serious?!” I can't help to lower my voice. He's pain in the ass.
“That's why I like her. . .because she's yours.” he smiled at me.
“Eh gago ka pala eh.” tumayo ako sa inuupuan ko at kinwelyuhan siya. Napatingin samin ang ibang costumer at ibang mga tao. I think they already recognized us that's why I let him go.
“Sure ka ba na ikaw ang anak ni Mr. Flores? How can you prove that damn lie?!” I hissed.
“Bunch of idiot. . He's the one who find me. Siya ang nagbigay sakin ng trono mo.”
Impossible!
“So do you want that title? Sayong- sayo na ang buong Flores Corp. Just let Danny go and everything is over! Ganun kadali!”
“ I also don't care about the money. It's yours but I want Danny.”
“Chaster. . It only makes the situation complicated. My mom and I were leaving after three weeks. Aalis na siya. Pwedeng iba nalang? Kahit ano.” kalmadong sabi ni Carson.
“I don't want to let her go. That's final.” tumayo na siya sa upuan niya kaya pinukpok ko ulit ang lamesa sa sobrang inis.
“APAT!”
“He's right.” pag-sang ayon ni Carson. “Si Luke, James, Lucas at ako. Lahat kami may gusto o nagkagusto kay Danny. Ano, Siya pa rin?”
“Tsk, We're five then.” inayos niya ang suit niya at bumaba na siya ng hagdan.
“Carson! Where the hell is DANNY?!”
“Nasa mall. . Pinabili ko ng suit ko.”
“Inutusan mo siya bumili ng gamit mo? How could you?!”
“Yeah. . Better fetch her up. I'm also going. I-coconvince ko pa si Mommy para mag-isip ng ibang kapalit for Chaster.”
Nauna na si Carson at naiwan akong mag-isa sa table. Pupunta na rin sana ako sa Mall nang biglang may tumawag sakin pagkatayo ko ng upuan.
Dad is calling. .
“Yes, Pa.”
[Landon, I need to say something important.]
“But I have some appointments and my girlfriend needs me.”
[Landon, ngayon lang. Lagi mo ng kasama si Daniella. May importante talaga akong sasabihin.]
“Yeah, In a minute.” I said before hanging up.
Napahinga nalang ako ng malalim at napahawak ako sa necktie ko. Hinanap ko ang caller id ni Danny at agad kong tinawagan. Argh, Antagal niya pa sumagot.
