Chapter Forty-Four

Danny's POV

“Danny, Galit ka pa ba sakin?” pumasok si Kuya sa kwarto ko. Tinarayan ko lang siya at hindi pinansin. Simula ng dumating siya hindi ko na siya kinikibo.

“Anong ginagawa mo rito? Lumabas ka dun, Kailangan ka ni Ate Ynna.”

It's been a week since they arrived. I'm still angry at my brother, you know? Feeling ko kasi ang selfish niya. It turns out that the half-million is for the remaining price of their house. Bubukod na si Kuya anytime. 

“Danny, I know that it's too hard for you but please give your brother another chance? Aalis nga ako ng bahay pero bibisita naman ako eh.”

“Just go, Leave me alone!”

“I'm sorry younger sis. I'm sorry for being so selfish.” lumabas na siya ng kwarto at di ko namalayang may tumulo na palang luha sa mga mata ko. Ang sama niyang kapatid! How dare he to leave us like this? 

“Bee. .”

Pinunasan ko ang luha ko bago pumasok si Lucas sa pinto. Lahat sila naghahanda na para sa kasal. It's just me that's not willing to cooperate.

“Oh? Hindi ba nagsusukat kayo sa baba? You're one of the groomsmen, What are you doing here?”

“Well, You're also one of the bride's maid.” he looked at me. His worried face makes me weaker.

Sinara niya ang pinto at lumapit siya sa'kin. He sat besides me and hugged me soon after. 

“I know you can't forgive your brother yet. Do you want to be alone? I'll wait for you outside. ” he kissed the top of my head. Tumayo na siya sa tabi ko kaya agad ko siyang pinigilan.

“No! Stay with me. I don't want to be alone.” 

“Fine, Then I'll stay with you.”

Umupo siya ulit sa tabi ko pero parehas lang kaming tahimik. To be honest, I want to cry out loud. I want to release my anger and act like everything is okay. I want to pretend that I'm strong. I want to faced then and act like nothing happened. Things like that. .

“Bee, You can use my chest if you want.” he suggested.

Tumingin lang ako sa kanya at hinayaang tumulo ang mga luha ko. I tried to stop my sobs but it's really coming out from my mouth. He buried my face into his chest and patted my head. 

“Anything to say, My Bee?” he said trying to convinced me.

Huminga ako ng malalim at yumakap sa kanya ng mahigpit.

“I hate him. He's always on my side and now he's getting married. I may not see him everyday. The room beside mine will end up empty. Hindi man lang siya nagpaalam sakin. I don't want him to go but I have left with no choice.” I said between my sobs.

“Danny, Your brother loves Ynna so  he has to do that.”

“I know. . Napakamartir niya! Ate Ynna fooled him twice but he doesn't care. Alam ko naman na mahal nila ang isa't-isa. Pero, Bakit ganun? He ends up sacrificing all of his dream for his woman.”

“It's just because. If that happens to me, I will do the same. Have about going downstairs? They were all waiting for you.”

Tumayo na si Lucas at pinunasan niya ang luha ko. His shirt is now wet because of my tears. I'm embarrased.
