🍒Special Chapter

Danny's POV

“Ito kaya? Maganda na ba or do you prefer much elegant? Gusto mo ba yung maraming diamonds?” pinakita ko sa kanya yung gown na napili ko. Tignan  mo to, Sasama-sama pa sa shop pero hindi naman ako pinapansin.

Tumango lang siya at tinuon ulit ang atensiyon sa cellphone niya. Kanina pa siya diyan, Nakakainis na!

Nasa bilihan kami ng wedding gown para sa incoming wedding namin. It's been months. Chaster left the country and I was there when he bid his good byes to mse. Humingi siya ng panahon sa akin. He deserves it. Ang hindi niya lang naman deserve ay masaktan. I gave him pain. His heart was broken. Ano pa bang magagawa ko? Mahal ko si Lucas eh.

“Lucas! Ito ka yang may touch of pink? Or do you prefer cream?”

Tumingin lang siya sa akin sandali at saka bumalik ulit sa pagpipindot niya sa cellphone niya.

“Anything you want, my love.”

Napahinga na lang ako ng malalim at binaba ko ang mga gown na hawak ko. Hindi ko gustong magalit ah. The point is, Once in a blue moon lang ito. Ayaw niya pa makinig!

“Landon. Are you paying attention or what? Should I ask Chaster what I'm going to wear?” I said sarcastically.

Tumayo siya sa pagkakaupo at ibinulsa ang cellphone niya. He held my both shoulders. He looked directly on my eyes and smiled like nothing happened.

"Bee, do you have any idea how much I want the day to come for us to get married?"

Tumango ako. “So much? Or you changed your mind? Ayaw mo na no'?” I crossed my arms.

“What made you think of that? Danny, Kung ako lang ang masusunod.  Kahit saan pa, papakasalan kita. But Chaster and I know that you deserve best! I want to give you the biggest wedding you had ever dream for. I don't need that expensive wedding gown, white dress is already enough for me. But, you know that I want to give you everything. I will give you want you want because you're such a worth it.”

Hindi ko alam kung bakit napalitan ng ngiti yung galit ko. Nakakainis! He's really good at making me blush.

“Te Amo?”

“Is that a question, Danny?” he raised his eyebrow. I shooked my head and kissed him quick on his soft lips.

“Ang sabi ko I love you.” tumakbo ako agad sa fitting room at agad naman niya akong naabutan dahil napakabigat ng gown na suot ko.

“Bee, Make it sure. Baka hindi ko na mahintay ang wedding.” he whispered.

“Hmm? But Lucas, by the way? Ano ba kasing ginagawa mo sa phone mo? Are you playing games or what?”

“Secret.”

“Ihh, Ano nga yon'? Pretty Please?” handa na akong buksan ang pinto ng fitting room at inaantay ko na lang ang sagot niya.

“Do you really want to know?” he asked and I immediately nod.

“Then wear back your clothes, I'll take you there.”

Pumasok na lang ako sa fitting room at nagpalit ng damit. May napili na akong gown. Cream ang color at long-sleeve. Ang arte ni Lucas, ayaw yung showy.

Natapos na ako magpalit at nag-aabang lang sa akin si Lucas sa labas. We're already done with the gown. Everything's perfect as planned. Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko at sabay kaming naglakad papuntang
exit.

“Where are we going?”

Pinagbuksan niya lang ako ng pinto ng kotse at nginitian. “You'll know.”

Nag-drive lang si Lucas hanggang mapansin kong nakarating na kami sa isang village. Buong byahe ay hindi man lang niya ako kinakausap. Weird.

“Bee, What is this place?”

Hininto niya ang kotse at inalalayan niya akong bumaba ng sasakyan. Nag-stop kami sa isang magandang bahay. It's simple but elegant. Three storey, perfect garage and unique ang design.

“So, Binibentahan mo ko ng bahay? Ilang percent sayo dito? Ang ganda ah.”

“Want to look around?” binuksan niya ang gate at pumasok kami sa loob. Ang ganda lalo ng loob. Hindi siya mansion, modern house siya, actually.

Nakarating kami sa loob at fully-furnished na pala. May bagong business na pala si Lucas ngayon. I didn't know this. “Like it?” he asked.

“It's familiar. Kailan ka pa nagbebenta ng mga ganito? May mansion ka naman di'ba?”

May kamukha lang talaga yung bahay, Yung plan namin ni Chaster nung nasa Chicago kami. From outside structure. Yung nakasabit sa kwarto ko sa apartment.

“I'm not selling this because it's ours.”

I blinked many times before everything sinked in into my brain. I can't believe this. Pinatayuan ako ni Lucas ng bahay? 

“Landon, I can't believe this!” hindi ko mapigilang maiyak. Agad akong yumakap at halos hindi na maabot ng paa ko yung sahig.

“Are you happy, my love?”

“Super! Pero paano mo ito nakuha? Naiwan ko yung frame sa US ah.”

“Chaster gave it to me. He told me that it was your dream house. I was chatting with the engineer earlier and said it was ready. Chaster wants you to complete your bucket lists. And he said that this was the last.”

“How could I break his heart?” I whispered. Quotang-quota na ako kay panget. Hope he will find his love. The one that truly deserves his love.

“Why are you crying? You should be happy.” he wiped my tears and kissed my forehead.

“You have no idea how happy I am. I just, can't . . . believe this.”

“There are payments for this, Bee. Do you think it was free?”

“Hah? You're such a dork!” pinunasan ko ang luha ko at hinintay ko ang sasabihin niya.

“The payments are your love, your trust, and ——”

“And, What? Pabitin ka!”

Tinuro niya ang kisame at tinignan ako ng kakaiba. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay at tinignan ng masama. “What's with the ceiling?”

Mukhang nainis si Lucas at binuhat ako papunta sa taas. The lover's carry? You know, Yung sa mga bagong kasal eh hindi pa naman kami kasal? 

“Hoy, Ibaba mo ko, Ano ba to'?”

Nakarating kami sa bedroom at ang ganda ng interior design. He laid me on the bed and looked at my eyes.

“Hoy, Landon! Siraulo ka! So the last payment was—Oh my gosh!” hindi ko mapigilang matawa. Okay, Wait? Hindi ko pa ma-process!

“Lucas, Dito talaga? As in now?” he nodded and gave me a seductively smile. He's about to kiss me when I hold his polo's collar.

“Wait, Teka, Sandali, Okay, Ito na.” he changed his face expression and laughed at me.

“What it is, My bee? Don't you like my surprise?”

“G-Gusto. Pero, ngayon talaga? May appointment ako mamaya? Kung later pag-uwi ko? Or after wor—”

I haven't finished my sentence when he grabbed my face and kissed me.

He slowly unzipped my dress and whispered into my ears that makes my heart went crazy.

“Then, tell your boss that you will do something more important. And you're going to do that with me. ”

Argh, My mind! What a soon-to-be husband, Landon!
