Feelings Are... An Interesting Thing ( XX )
" Kawaii~Chan, are you guys ready?" Aphmau asked, walking into the room wearing her costume for the day.
" Aphmau~Sempi! Are you ready to go?- Aphmau~Sempi looks so kawaii in her new costume!" The meifwa exclaimed upon seeing her friend's new outfit.
" Aww, thanks Kawaii~Chan, you look beautiful too. Your costumes always come out so perfect, the attention to detail is amazing!"
" Kawaii~Chan lives and breaths Anime conventions! Now that today is day two we had to make the most of it!"
" For sure!" Aphmau agreed as Alex flopped onto one of the beds, bored out of her mind.
" So Aphmau~Sempi! Did anything crazy happen on your first day?"
" Aside from the DDR contest and the pictures we took, there was this one thing with-" Aphmau began before Katelyn interrupted her, popping up from behind the second bed.
" Don't. Even. Aphmau."
Aphmau giggled." Katelyn, you have to admit it was really, really, unexpected of you."
" I just got caught up in the moment, that's all."
" Ehh?" Kawaii~Chan asked." What moment?"
" I'd like to know too," Alex added, sitting up and looking over at her older sister.
" Katelyn, it's okay if you like Travis."
" Wait. What?"
" Aphmau not you too!"
Aphmau laughed lightly." Not like that, but I mean... like, a friend. I know he's really weird around women but I'm just saying that Travis can have some really sweet moments, instead of hitting him away why don't you just try talking to him or maybe even hanging out and getting to know him."
" Did something happen in between Katelyn~Sama and Travis~Kun?" Kawaii~Chan asked.
" That's exactly what I was wondering Kate."
" Sort of."
" I don't need this right now!" Katelyn said, interrupting Aphmau." It's bad enough Nichole got food poisoning yesterday and she had to leave but she left with Dante taking care of her! Fine. You know what? I'll hang out with Travis today."
" Really!?"
" Yeah, I mean I meditated on it last night and really the whole 'kissing him' thing was immature for me to do... I'm going to go meet up with him and apologize."
" Kiss!?" Kawaii~Chan asked as Alex sat there in shock.
" I don't think Travis wants an apology for that... but I get what you're saying. Just, next time, don't let this friendly rivalry with Lucinda get under your skin, okay?"
" I won't... now I'm headed down to the con, I'll meet you guys there."
" Oh! Kawaii~Chan will follow Katelyn~Sama, you know, Kawaii~Chan needs a partner for the Para Para dance contest now that Nichole is out!"
" Fine! Buy me lunch and I'll do it."
" Really!?" Kawaii~Chan squealed happily as she followed Katelyn out of the room.
