This Just Gets Stranger and Stranger ( XIII )
" Got a girlfriend, Zane?" Garroth laughed as he, Alex, and Laurence approached the group to see Zane talking to his ' date' Michi.
" Garroth." the younger Ro'Meave grumbled.
" Never thought I'd see you with Michi."
" Never thought I'd see you on a date."
" W-what!?"
" Ha! Burn," Laurence laughed.
" Can all three of you just calm down, none of this is a real date we're just here because Katelyn said-" Alex began before getting interrupted by Michi.
" Oh! My handsome muffin cake!"
" Get away from me Michi!" Laurence said, quickly backing away.
The freckled girl looked over at the exchange between her friend and the Meifwa." Oh... I almost forgot about that."
" Hey, Lucinda!" Aphmau said over everyone else's conversations causing the others to turn to the red-headed witch.
" So Laurence, looks like you and I are Valentine buddies."
" I like the sound of it."
" This is getting stranger by the second," Alex commented, looking over at the pairings of her friends." I never expected my first ever ' date' to be like this."
" You've never been on a date before Lex?" Laurence asked the girl, looking at her as though she was crazy.
" I thought you were well aware of this. Apart from you and Garroth, My family, and Aph, I only really had two other friends growing up, and I didn't have any interest in dating anyone out of that handful of people. Plus you can't forget how overprotective Katelyn and my Dad both are. You've known me since first grade Laurence, you know how I am around people, and you know how my family is, what else do you expect from me."
" Yeah, I probably should have realized that before asking."
Travis cleared his throat to get everyone's attention." Alright, listen up. I've got a whole slew of events for us to attend, but first off, we're going to the arcade! Let's go!"
A/N: sorry again for the late update, I'm trying to get a better sleeping schedule going so I'm not as tired as I usually am. I'm going to update a second chapter today, along with three chapters in my other book I'm working on, so it's going to be a lot of work. I'm going to try and begin updating around noon Pacific Standard time each day.
