Amelia

I - once again - woke up before Jay and I went ahead and had a shower as well as made breakfast for the two of us. Half way through my routine, Jay got up. I was standing in the kitchen, drinking my coffee and reading my emails when he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek.

"Good morning," His husky morning voice spoke in my ear, making goosebumps appear all over my skin. I smiled at him and turned around to face him.

"Good morning handsome, how did you sleep?" I asked him.

"I slept well next to my beautiful girlfriend, how did you sleep?" He kissed my forehead gently and then put his hands on my cheeks so he could tilt my head up a little to have a better look at my face.

"I slept well." I smiled at him and slightly blushed at his comment, "How was it last night?"

He let go of my face gently after giving me one last kiss and went around the kitchen island to sit down on one of the stools. Jay faced me as I continued to sip on my coffee whilst I made breakfast.

"It was very weird. I'm pretty sure the guard are abusing the girls for sexual services in exchange for help in some way." He explained, rubbing his eyes. My eyes widened and I sighed at the idea of people abusing of those girls. They had it hard enough, they definitely didn't need that - not that anyone needs or deserves to be abused but you get my point.

"What gave you that impression?" I asked him.

"Well, a girl, she's called Ellie, approached me by tugging at my belt and kissing my neck to show me how things worked there." He sighed, shaking his head. I knew that girl would hit him hard and from then on, he'd do anything to protect and help her.

"Woah. That's horrible. What did she want in exchange?" I wondered.

"She didn't say. I just pushed her away and then the nurse came in so I didn't get the chance to talk to her more." He seemed disappointed that he didn't get to talk to her. I gave him his place and walked around the kitchen island with mine. I put it next to his and hugged him before sitting down.

"You'll get to talk to her and help Jay. I know you'd like to do it now and make it all better for her but sadly missions like this takes up a little time. You'll figure it out, you amazing man." I kissed his cheek and he smiled at me, thanking me. I didn't ask any more questions, knowing that he'd tell everything to everyone in an hour or so at the district before he went back there. I just felt really bad for him because he barely got any sleep and he'd get here quite late tonight as well.
