(Later that day)

Taehyung tuned out the others, unable to focus on the conversation as his eyes lingering up to the old building that was once a snack shack. He studied the structure, noticing the many cracked concrete walls and exposed deteriorated interior.

He remembered being obsessed with the shack as a kid, constantly begging for change from the other parents who watched their children play in the water, hoping someone would pity him enough to buy his only meal for the day.

He couldn't help but feel a pang in his chest at the memory. So many amazing moments in this place, only for it to be destroyed by a terrible one.

Standing from his spot on the pool's edge, Taehyung aimlessly wandered over to the building, climbing onto the broken wall and pulling himself onto the roof.

The space didn't look much different from the new height, except being able to see the overgrown greenery all at once. Although others would see the area as disgusting and wasteful, he could only see the beauty. The pool was now in its new chapter of life, aged and worn but still breathtaking.

Then, his eyes saw the one spot he could never erase from his memory. Although it was hidden by a bed of flowers, he could still picture it as when the event happened. He no longer felt saddened by the memory. Instead, he felt remorse. He couldn't help but wish he had done something, anything to change the outcome that ultimately led to the pools shut down.

"It's too shallow for you to jump!" Shouted one of the boys from below, watching as Tae neared the edge.

Tae nodded somberly, looking from the small amount of rain water at the deep end of the pool, focusing on the leaves and random items of garbage floating at the surface.

A small smile fought its way to his lips, pulling his gaze from the spot of water back to his friends. "I have an idea." He mumbled to himself, stuffing his hands in his pockets and looking back to the trees surrounding them.

In reality, it was probably a stupid idea. But nonetheless, he needed to do it. Just one more fear to overcome.

(Same Day- Noon)

Jungkook picked up the half deflated soccer ball he had found off the damp rooftop, smiling as he held it over his head, displaying it proudly for the others still taking their time with lunch.

Jimin raised his hands in excitement, setting his burger down on its wrapper and stood, jogging to the other end of the roof. "Kick it here!" He shouted, trying to swallow his food at the same time.

Dropping the ball to the ground, Jungkook kicked it across the rooftop, smiling widely as he and Jimin began a game of pass back, the others cheering them on like the supportive Hyungs they were.
