Gracie POV
I wake up next to Jack at 6:45. My hair is still curly from last night so at least I don't have to do anything to it.
I go to my room and put on jean shorts and a baja hoodie.
Theres a knock on my bedroom door so I open it. Jack's standing there, with a black eye from the fight.
"Hey" I say
"What are you doing?" He asks
"Just getting ready for school" I groan
"Don't go" he says sitting on my bed
"But I wanna see how beat up Will is" I laugh
"But I wanna chill with you all day" He says
"What about after school?" I ask
"Pleeeease, I'm gonna be lonely" He begs
I roll my eyes "Fine" I smile after tho cuz I can't stay mad at him.
"Lets go get bagels around 9 so no one from school is there" Jacks says
"Yeah" I exclaim
"Bye the way I like your drug rug" Jack laughs
The sweatshirt I have on, druggies are known for wearing so they call them drug rugs. But I just like it.
"Thanks" I smile
We just chill in my room listening to music and talking for a while. Im really happy that our fight didn't effect our friendship or anything. It just makes me kinda sad that he didn't tell me that he smoked, and he didn't invite me. I guess it's not really my business so what ever.
"Lets go" I tell Jack, grabbing my keys
We go downstairs, to the car, and drive to bagel world.
We go inside and of course the line is really long. Hey I don't mind because that's more time to spend with Jack.
We slowly get to the counter. The worker, who's probably about a year older than me, comes over.
"How can I help you miss" He smiles
"Can I have a french toast, toasted with cream cheese please" I ask
He nods and makes the bagel.
"It's on the house cutie" He says handing me the bag worth a wink.
I look at Jack and he looks mad for some reason. But his jawline be lookin hella fine.
"Oh yeah Im getting his too" I tell the worker, so Jack can get a free bagel too
Jack smiles again and we go sit at a table.
"Are you okay?" I ask him
"What do you mean" he says
"I don't know you looked mad or something" I say
He shrugs.
"Oh well" I say and start eating.
"Okay we should for real do that surf lessons thing" He says
I nod "Yeah! Please"
"Tonight we shall have a meeting with everyone about it" Jack says
"Good idea, Ill send a group message" I say
"Well its not even ten, what do you wanna do today?" Jack asks
"Do you want to go to the mall?" I recommend
