Krishnaa was fascinated by Indraprasth. This was the first time she had ever seen a place other than the colony.
At the moment, she was sitting at the banks of the river, admiring the sunset.
Parth came up to her with two diyas and handed one to her. "Offer the diya to the river and pray", he told her.
She let the diya float in the river and prayed. Parth did the same.
"Let's go to a quiet place ", Parth said, pointing towards a temple on top of a hill. The path to the temple was lit with lanterns, giving it a magical effect.
"It is gorgeous ",she said, looking down at the city.
"You can see the entire Indraprasth from here", he commented. Parth got up from where they were sitting and walked towards a tree. He returned with some flowers in his hand.
"May I?", he asked, looking at her hair. She nodded and turned her back towards him.
He braided her hair neatly, leaving a few hair strands loose. He decorated her hair with the flowers.
He took her hands gently in his and slipped the bangles on her wrists. Krishnaa closed her eyes, feeling intoxicated as he took off her plain silver earrings and put on the intricate gold ones which they had bought.
Next, he put on the necklace. Krishnaa shuddered as his fingertips brushed her collarbone. He put on maangtika and payals and put the kamarbandh around her waist. He have her a kiss on the forehead.
"Beautiful", he whispered in her ear. "You look like a goddess".
"I love a compliment but no need to exaggerate ", she chuckled.
"I am not", he said and pushed a large, decorated water bowl towards her.
She looked at her reflection and was surprised. She noticed her lotus shaped eyes, her lips and her decorated hair. She did have a unique beauty. A beauty which was unknown to her.
She felt beautiful. He made her feel beautiful.
She leaned forward to kiss his cheek, but he turned his face, his lips meeting hers in a long, passionate kiss.
