Arjun was awoken by Krishnaa stroking his hair. He smiled at her. It has been two days since he confessed to her and he was still ecstatic. Since that day, Arjun has started to observe her more, notice every little detail about her. He was so in love.
"Good morning ", Krishnaa said. "My morning is always good if you are a part of it", he flirted. Krishnaa turned a bright shade of red and lightly slapped his shoulder.
Arjun sat up and stared at her brown orbs. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. His arms went around her waist and he pulled her onto his lap and pecked her nose. Krishnaa's palms cupped his face and she kissed his lips.
"Go and freshen up ", she said getting off his lap. "It's a big day ". Arjun nodded and went to the river. Today, they were supposed to go to Panchal. Arjun was nervous. He wouldn't be if it was just him, but he had Krishnaa with him.
She had never lived under any rule and was unaware of protocol. Panchal was a dangerous place, full of intolerant people. Her bold personality would make it easy for her to get noticed.
He shook his head to clear his thoughts. Nothing would happen to her. He would protect her at all costs. He spent quite some time at the river before going back.
"Went somewhere?", he asked when he returned. She nodded. "To a nearby village. I realized, we will need disguises. Our clothes make it too obvious that we are from around here."
Arjun nodded. It was better if they kept their identities hidden. "So what did you buy?", he asked. "Actually, I stole." Arjun laughed and shook his head. "What are we going to be?" "I will be Malini". "You will be Brihannala." "You want me to be disguised as a girl!", he exclaimed. "As a eunuch", she corrected. "Couldn't you have chosen something else for me?", he asked helplessly. "As I said before, I stole these. I couldn't take my own time choosing the perfect garments for you. It's either this, or you don't come with me." "Fine", he groaned.

They were both in disguise. Krishnaa was wearing a vibrant blue lehenga and blouse. It was simple without any embroidery. A blue odhni covered her torso. Her long black hair left loose. A simple necklace around her neck. She looked exotic.
But Arjun didn't pay any attention to her beauty. He was too busy handling his own. He was the heaviest clothes, very detailed and embroidered. He wore a wig which was covered by veil. He was made to very multiple ornaments.
He felt miserable. He remembered Nakul's joke and groaned. "You make a gorgeous woman", Krishnaa teased. "You are definitely going to break some hearts in Panchal." Arjun gave her a blank look. "Ready to go?", she sounded enthusiastic. "I think so". "So what is the plan?", she asked. "Unless you are planning on barging through the gates."

"Can you walk faster?", Krishnaa called out to Parth who was walking at the speed of a tortoise. They were climbing up a mountain, in search for some kind of a hidden route, since Parth suspected that it was the only way the rajkumari could have possibly escaped.
"I am trying", he answered. "But walking in this attire is tiring........and embarrassing", he whispered the last part. Krishnaa burst out laughing and Parth glared at her. They continued walking for a while. Krishnaa turned back to see that Parth was still behind.
She sat down, waiting for him. As the cool breeze hit her face, she leaned back against a rock and shut her eyes. Suddenly she felt some movement. She looked back at noticed that the rock had shifted. 'Stange', she thought and signalled Parth to come faster.
Together, they pushed the rock aside to reveal some kind of a tunnel, going downward. It was partially man made and had stairs carved into it. They exchanged a look. Parth broke a branch off of a dried tree and set it on fire using two stones, making it a torch.
The cave was dark and dingy. It was very moist inside and the moss growing on the stony steps, making it slippery. "Be careful", Krishnaa called as Parth entered. The cave was a labyrinth with identical passages, making it extremely confusing. After a lot of searching, they found a set of steps going upwards.
They climbed up and met with a dead end, which was surprisingly, a door. The door slid open and they entered an old house.
They were in Panchal.
