Also, little update before we get into the chapter... lmfao did anyone else buy the bts edition s20+ and galaxy buds? I did! i wanted a new phone and was looking at the s20 but didn't get it because I hated the colors...then bts released their edition and I was like that color is beautiful. so I got it 😂 I also have a bts story. read that if you like bts. I'm writing that story right now.

Alright, enough self promotion.

Minae's POV

~Present Day (2020)~

"Wake up my pretty princess," a whisper woke me up as arms wrapped around my waist.

I groaned and put my pillow over my head, "No."

"I know you're tired from last night, but we can't stay in bed all day," he pulled the pillow off of my head, "Come on beautiful wife, Minae, and my princess."

I smiled and turned to him as the light quickly blinded me.

"Should I pick you up like the dramas? I'll carry you to the kitchen dramatically like you're dying in my arms as we confess our love for each other one last time."

I laughed, "Your hair is long enough to make you look like you're in a historical drama."

"I'll take that as a yes then!"

He quickly got out of bed and I watched him as he came over to my side of the bed then paused.

"My princess, Minae!"

He scooped me up bridal style.

"My prince—wait," I thought for a second, "Are you a prince or a king?"

"Hm, prince," he smiled.

"Okay," I said before resuming my acting, "Prince Donghae!"

~2015~

I woke up after passing out from accidentally drinking soju instead of water from the fridge. My body still hurt since I basically just got back from the hospital, but I have constantly been thinking about what I heard Eunhyuk say at the hospital.

I woke up enough to pull myself up from my bed and checked the time.

"It's 1:03... I wonder if he's still awake."

I thought for a second before heading over to Eunhyuk's room. I saw a faint light reflecting off of the floor from the bottom of the door.

I put my ear close to the door and knocked lightly just in case he was asleep.

"Come in," he said right away.

I slowly opened the door.

He looked surprised, "What are you doing up?"

"I guess I just woke up for some reason...I was asleep but," I trailed off.

"What's up?" he raised an eyebrow looking slightly concerned.

I slowly walked over and sat on his bed knowing what I'm about to do is probably going to hurt both of us.

"Eunhyuk," I whispered, "I heard what you said in the hospital."

His eyes got wider, "You did?"

I nodded a little, "Yes, and I don't want to hurt you, but I'm just confused."
