"you know you've been in the same position since I left" Kristen said fixing her hair in the mirror
"Mmh" Ray hummed typing away at her laptop
"I felt like 6 hours ago" Kristen said walking over to Ray, she snatched the laptop from the girls lap, putting it on her desk making her whine "go shower and get yourself in check, this isn't healthy"

Ray looked up at the small white girl in dismay, it had been 6+ hours since she sat down to complete the assignment that wasn't even due until 2 weeks. She sighed in defeat and went to get up while Kristen collected her things

"I won't be coming back tonight so you can lock or have someone over i don't care just don't fuck on my bed" Kristen stated as she went to open the door
"oh would you look at that, Ray you have a guest"

Ray furrowed her eyebrows, exiting their bathroom to see who it could possibly be. Kristen steppes out behind her stood Erick with a bag of McDonalds and 2 cups and 2 mcflurry's in hand.

"i would have texted but you didn't seem to be answering my texts at all so i thought i'd pop up on you" Erick said setting the food on her desk
"what? you havn't texted me" Ray protested

Erick nodded his head towards her phone which she checked

"oh" Ray said "in my defence you know how i get when i'm in the zone"
"bet you're even hungry"Erick pointed out
"Ouuu i'm craving something spicy" Ray said "did you get me something spicy!"
"exactly now have you even showered?" Erick asked
"no" Ray answered meekly

Erick sighed and pointed towards the bathroom, the silent instruction was enough for Ray as she made her way to the bathroom to do what she was told

Meanwhile back at the pier Aleesha sat down with Richard who opted to buy them ice cream for their tedious journey on bike. They watched as the sunset ascended behind the ocean, Aleesha leaned into Richard's chest while he lovingly stroked a thumb over her forearm.

"Have you thought about the future?" Aleesha asked
"Yeah, all the time" Richard said
"where do you see yourself in 10 years?" she followed up

Richard bit his lip for a second, contemplating weather to speak his mind or not

"Well, I see CNCO dominating charts all across the world, I see myself finally okay with settling down with the love of my life, we'll have been married then for at least 4 years and she'll be expecting our new baby boy" Richard said baffling Aleesha
"You- you wanna marry me?" she asked in a small voice
"Of cause baby, what part of 'love of my life' did you miss" Richard answered "But it's not 10 years yet so we'll start with the next week, i see you meeting Aaliyah"

Aleesha shot up from her lying position, facing Richard with wide eyes. She had only seen pictures of Aaliyah and heard her voice during facetimes, never have the. 2 met because Richard had the fear of introducing her to Aaliyah only for them to break up later which was understandable

Richard wanted to be reassured that their relationship was stable and solid before introducing them and he felt that Aleesha was the one, Aaliyah's future step mom. She hadn't pressured him to meet her and was fully supportive of the fact that he had a child, never judged him and that's one of the many things that attracted him to her

"yeah, but that's if you're okay with that?" Richard said skeptically
"Okay? i'm more than okay with it i'm so happy! i'm excited! fuck!" Aleesha yelled attacking Richard into a hug causing them to fall back
"She's picking up on language now so you can't swear around her" Richard warned
"then you better keep her far away from Ray" Aleesha joked kissing Richard
"we better get back cause it's getting late" Richard said "sleepover?"

Aleesha nodded her head as they got up and grabbed the bikes, wheeling them back up the pier to the place where they had rented them and making their way over to where they parked the car

Back at Ray's dorm, Ray sat inbetween Erick's legs while he played with her damp hair. Kissing Booth 2 played in front of them on Netflix with wrappers from her spicy burger and Ericks cheese burger lying on the floor

"I mean i'm not going to lie, Marco could get it" Ray commented sleepily
"Oh so you into that now?" Erick asked
"No, i'm into you" Ray mumbled
"what? i don't speak cute girl mumble" Erick teased

When Ray didn't answer Erick looked down to see her sleeping on his stomach, a smile across his face when he pulled his phone out to take a picture, one for his many memories. Although he hoped that he would one day find the courage to ask her to be his girlfriend, for now he had to settle for her being his best friend.

Zabdiel hadn't gotten what the boys had suggested out of his mind the entire day. His phone was open on Aaliyah's inbox and he knew he wouldn't go to bed unless he ballsed up and texted her, they have him a good topic to start their conversation off of

Zabdiel pressed the send button faster than he intended, throwing his phone across his bed as he ran his hands through his blonde hair. His heart was beating so loud he almost didn't hear the notification. It was 10:57PM.
