The boys walked through the front door, half expecting to be greeted by the sight of a busy living room but nothing of that sort, Instead the house was quiet with the sound of the clock ticking in the kitchen being the only thing heard. Zabdiel quickly panicked remembering that he had left his mother with the twins, he moved to run up the stairs only to find Aaliyah quietly coming down holding the baby monitor in hand

"Hello boys" She smiled giving Zabdiel a kiss on the cheek
"Hey where's everyone?" Joel asked
"Aleesha's showering, our mums went out to lunch, Yashua's girlfriend is upstairs and Ray, Yashua and Sienna still arn't back" Aaliyah informed them
"And the twins?" Zabdiel asked
"Sleeping" Aaliyah said shaking the monitor

The front door opened again before anyone could speak up, Yashua holding it open as Ray walked through with Sienna skipping in front of her.

"i want to show papi" Sienna said motioning to the cone in her hand
"Let's go find him" Ray smiled before looking up "Oh looks like we did"

Sienna rushed over to Erick, tugging on his pant leg
"Papi i got nana!" She smiled showing him the ice cream cone "eat?"
"No thank you nena" Erick smiled "Ray can we talk?"
"So that's where you've been? with her?" Yashua's girlfriend yelled coming down the stairs
"Baby-
"No" She said making her way up to Ray "You see girls like you, i can see right through you, read you"
"Well i'm a pretty open book" Ray smirked "and your man read it"
"Really Ray!" Erick snapped "I'm standing right here!"
"Okay and? It's not like you're going to defend me" Ray said rolling her eyes
"Instead of having petty little fights, you and I should be upstairs discussing how we're going to work out having Sienna around" Erick yelled
"I'm not doing this with you" Ray said before turning to leave

Erick grabbed her wrist, causing Sienna to yell out at him. She began hitting his leg crying for him to let go of her as if her little fists had any affect on him. Ray shook Erick's grip off her and knelt down to Sienna's level as she ran into her arms and sobbed into her shoulder

"It's okay baby, papi wasn't going to hurt me" Ray assured her
"Sienna-
"We'll talk about this later" Ray said to Erick carrying Sienna out back to the car.

The silence between the group was cut off by the sound of one of the twins crying coming through the monitors making Aaliyah excuse herself as well as Zabdiel to go and comfort them. Erick followed and left to go upstairs, slamming the door in the process in absolute anger not only at Ray but himself as well for what had just happened

"That was insane" Aleesha sighed sitting on hers and Richard's shared bed
"Yeah, i feel bad for Sienna" Richard said "it's not the best seeing your parents fight"
"Now they aren't exactly her parents-
"In her eyes they are the only two people who care for her and to her that's her parents" Richard interrupted sternly
"Woah" Aleesha said taken aback by his tone "Are you okay?"
"i'm fine" Richard sighed "i just need to splash water on my face"

With that Richard got up and went to their connected bathroom, opening the tap and splashing some water on his face. He grabbed the towel and patted his face dry, looking at himself in the mirror. He sighed and opened the medicine cabinet, realising the dull throb in the back of his head. He scanned for the white bottle of paracetamol they kept stopping at a small white box behind the cough mixture that had expired long ago and they had get to throw away

He turned the box around, surprised to not see the label. He grabbed the tray of pills, noticing how they weren't the normal tray of pills but much rather had been sectioned off into weeks. He furrowed his eyebrows, putting it back and walking out to find Aleesha on their bed scrolling through what they could watch. She opened her arms and welcomed him in, allowing him to put his head on her chest as she ran her hands through his red curls lullabying him

Erick paced the living room, checking his phone. The time stared back at him, saying a subtle 1:35AM. A good 8 hours since Ray stormed out with Sienna and she hadn't been answering any of his texts or calls or pleas for them to at least talk. Erick's heart was racing in his ears as he tried hard to keep up the facade when Ray's mother asked where they had gone.

"She's going to come back" Yashua said from the stairs grabbing Erick's attention
"Of cause she is" Erick mumbled before continuing his pacing
"Look dude, i know it looked wrong. I told her not to post the picture on Instagram but she wouldn't listen to me. You know how petty your wife can be" Yashua said with a light chuckle
"You're telling me" Erick chuckled too
"I don't want her in that way, well at least not anymore. Ray and I are friends and i don't know how many times I have to say that for it to get through your head but nothings ever going to happen" Yashua said coming to stand in front of Erick "I see how happy she is with you, despite it all she could have walked but she chose to stay"
"Through better or worse, through richer and poorer, til death do us 'part" Erick finished
"Exactly man" Yashua said clapping a hand on his shoulder "now when she walks through that door you're going to hug her and show her that you love her. Drop your issues and talk about how you're going to deal with Sienna. As adults"
"Thanks" Erick said
"It's a pleasure" Yashua said "plus if i were stealing anyone's girl i'd steal Aleesha"
"Oh so you're calling my wife ugly?" Erick joked
"I'm just imagining how awkward thanks giving would be" Yashua laughed

Sure enough before Erick could answer he heard the keys jiggle in the door. He snapped his gaze to the door where Ray came in looking more exhausted than she had ever looked. Erick immediately engulfed her in a bone crushing hug. Ray incoherently mumbled something along the lines of an apology to Erick only to be judged by him

"I'm willing to move to New York with you if i have to" He said whole heartedly
"No, i applied to a couple of hospitals around here but until they answer me i'm still resident at New York" Ray told him
"I love you" Erick smiled kissing her "wheres Sienna?"
"She's passed out in the car" Ray said pointing behind her

Erick gave her instruction to get herself into bed before getting Sienna and putting her into bed himself. He stripped and changed before slipping into bed next to a knocked out and snoring Ray, draping his arm over her protectively and going to sleep
