Zabdiel's mom let herself in, taking in the living room before making her way upstairs. They had let her know that the 2 rooms with the doors shut would be Zabidel and Aaliyah's rooms but Zabdiel's was the first door she would come across. She knocked on Zabdiel's room, earning no response to her knock

"Zabdiel, it's mamá" She said clearly.

There was a sound of frantic packing behind the door before the lock clicked open and Zabdiel came into view. Hair not combed, his eyes red and face swelled up. He took a look at his mother before bursting into tears once more. His mother opened her arms and embraced her son as if he was still the same 4 foot little boy coming home from school in tears after being bullied (for his long ass head💀)

"Speak to me" She said softly after sitting him down on the bed
"I love her, i really do mami but i can't take it anymore. I listened to her when she told me that she was scared of marriage. I took the rings and hid them from her. I understood with the whole Dante thing? i stayed by her side beating myself up for not being there to support her, i apologised for my insensitive comment got her flowers and everything. I wake up at the dead of night to take care of the babies before they wake her because i know how tired she gets but still, still it's never enough for her" Zabdiel vented to his mother "i can't do it anymore mami"
"I know son, i can see it but i can also see how much you love her" His mother said caressing his face "Maybe one more try?"
"I'm tired ma, emotionally tired of supporting her and myself at the same time. It's not like at times i also want to cry on her shoulder and tell her about the hate i'm getting, the anxiety i feel before performances. I want her to care for me like Ray does for Erick before performances to make sure he's not to nervous but i'm too scared i might just be piling onto the problems she's already experiencing" Zabdiel said with a sniff

Aaliyah stood at the door, listening to his every word. A wave of guilt hit her all at once as she clumped a hand over her mouth to stop the sob that was coming. She made her way to her room and buried herself under her sheets. Aaliyah had no idea Zabdiel felt this way, that he wanted the affection so much, she had been so wrapped up in keeping her wall up and not letting herself fall too hard that she was unaware of Zabdiel who had completly torn his walls down and fallen knee deep into it all.

She heard her door open before closing once again. Zabdiel's mother informing Zabdiel that she was asleep before they both walked away. Aaliyah sat there crying once again before falling asleep while Zabidel, in the other room, did the exact same thing.

At the park, Aleesha watched as Richard ran after Aaliyah who ran around the jungle gym set before making a beeline right for Aleesha and jumping into her lap almost knocking the wind out of her.

"You're not allowed to run to Aleesha for shelter!" Richard said tickling his daughter
"Papi!" Aaliyah squealed squirming in Aleesha's lap
"okay that's enough how about you have some lunch" Aleesha laughed handing Richard a wrap
"Who made this?" Richard asked taking a bite
"Chipotle" Christopher exclaimed jointing them with Ray, Erick, Kat, Joel and the twins
"Wheres Kendall?" Aleesha asked
"She's still at work but she'll join us in a few" Joel said sitting down and grabbing his food
"Oh would you look at that Mia's dead asleep" Richard pointed out at the drooling baby in Ray's embrace
"I must say, i can be very soothing at times" Ray smirked proudly putting the sleeping baby in the stroller
"Really? the same girl who was yelling for a vodka and tonic at the bar?" Erick laughed
"Mind your business, i needed a stress reliever" Ray said pushing him slightly
"Daddy i wanna swing!" Aaliyah pouted pointing towards the swing set
"I'll take her you finish eating" Aleesha said getting up and kissing Richard's cheek

The rest of the group sat down to have their food until Kendall joined them. Richard left to join Aaliyah and Aleesha on the swing set, he took a look at them adoringly imagining that Aaliyah was their daughter instead. Listening to her giggles and demands for Aleesha to push her higher as Aleesha laughed and complied putting all her strength into a push

"I think daddy could do better" Richard said approaching them
"Oh is that?" Aleesha said taking a step back "then show us daddy"
"No problem baby" Richard smirked taking her place

He pushed with all his might making Aaliyah squeal as she reached her highest. He continued for 5 minutes until Aaliyah had had enough and felt somewhat sick of it. Aleesha helped her out and watched her run to the slides.

"I obviously won that" Richard let Aleesha know
"Yeah and so?" Aleesha teased
"I deserve a prize" He said proudly
"A prize?" Aleesha laughed "what do you want exactly"
"Uhh breakfast in bed" Richard thought for a minute "but i need the person serving it naked"
"I'll let Christopher know that" Aleesha nodded
"No!" Richard exclaimed in disgust "i have seen him naked enough"
"Oh so you've seen other men naked now" Aleesha teased
"I swear it meant nothing" Richard played along
"You can go sleep on the couch then" Aleesha said dramatically

Before Aleesha could answer, a scream from Aaliyah cut them off. They looked over to where she had been playing to find her on the floor clutching her knee. Richard was the first there to check on her, she had scrapped her knee on the gravel and there was a patch of torn off skin where she was holding. He hiked her up into her arms and carried her over to where Aleesha was. They made their way to the group where Ray expertly cleaned the wound with water and tissue before patching it up with some plasters they found in Aleesha's purse

"Such a strong big girl!" Aleesha praised Aaliyah "didn't even cry once"
"That's my baby girl" Richard smiled giving her a high five
"Why do you have princess plasters in your bag?" Joel asked
"Because drunk Ray is a hazard to the public but mostly herself" Aleesha said "gotta keep these handy"
"Oh so what's where those are from" Ray said coming to the realisation
"Zabdiel's mother texted, she said she took Zabdi out to lunch but Aaliyah was still asleep so she couldn't fix things between them" Joel sighed
"At least she got him to shower!" Richard said "last time they fought we had to fumigate his room"
"I think we should go back anyways, Mia's about to wake up and Theo's getting fusy" Ray said trying to distract him
"This is the most responsible i've seen you" Aleesha commented "You're not pregnant are you?"
"No" Erick said quickly getting a weird look from Aleesha "i mean i would know if she was right amor?"
"Yeah of cause" Ray laughed "now let's vamos!"

Richard packed the picnic stuff up quickly while Aleesha piggy backed Aaliyah, Erick took the stroller and Ray took Theo. They got into the car and made their way back home. Aaliyah had fallen asleep on Aleesha so she helped her upstairs and tucked her into bed

"Sleep tight mi amor" Aleesha whispered kissing her forehead
"Te amor mami" Aaliyah mumbled earning a gasp from Aleesha.

She backed out of the room and made her way to Richard's and hers. Shutting the door and looking at Richard with wide eyes
"what? what happened?" Richard asked visibly concerned
"She called me mami and she said she loves me" Aleesha smiled
"Oh" Richard shrugged
"Oh? bitch pop the fucking champagne this is a moment to celebrate" Aleesha almost yelled
"As happy as i am for you mi vida, she's tired so she probably thought it was her mom" Richard said softly
"You honestly couldn't let me have my moment!" Aleesha exclaimed throwing her arms up "i'm outta here"
"Mi Amor!" Richard yelled after her
"Eat my ass bruh" She yelled back
