The next morning Ray woke up to knocking at her door. She looked at her watch to see it being only 6AM, it couldn't be one of the girls, their flight was at 9. She nonetheless got up and opened the door to see Yashua on the other side, hands in his pocket.

"What's up?" Ray asked with a small yawn
"Just wanted to take a walk on the beach if you're down" Yashua shrugged
"Sure let me brush my teeth" Ray said moving to the bathroom

Once she had brushed her teeth and put on a pair of shorts, Ray and Yashua made their way down to the beach just in front of their hotel. The pair walked along the sea, occasionally pushing each other towards the slow tides coming in before settling down to watch the sun rise

"I never got to say thank you for the past 2 days" Ray smiled
"You don't need to, i offered and i was happy to deliver" Yashua said softly
"So what did you wanna get off your mind?" Ray asked putting her head on his shoulder
"what? i never said-
"Yashua you told me you like to take walked in the early morning or dead of night to get things off your mind so out with it" Ray recalled with a slight laugh
"You still remember" Yashua whispered
"of cause i do, we spent 3 weeks basically joint to the hip" Ray said lifting her head

"Well, i wanted to give you this" Yashua said handing Ray a 2 small boxes "I was going to give it to you once i finally saw you again and officially made you mine but seeing you so happy and fulfilled, thought i'd wait until your birthday"

Ray took the boxes opening the first one to see a badge saying "Head surgeon" and her name in calligraphy and the second had a ring, inside was her name and surname. She turned to look at Yashua

"I know what you're going to say but i have a feeling you're going to get that position in New York" He smiled
"How did-
"You're not the only one who remembers small details" Yashua winked
"Ray where the fuck have you been i've been calling nonstop!" Aleesha yelled running up to the two
"I'm sorry i left my phone back at my hotel room what's up?" Ray apologised
"it's Aaliyah she's been puking all morning" Aleesha explained
"shit!" Ray said getting up
"I'll call my mom to come help" Yashua said grabbing his phone out his pocket

The girls ran up to Aaliyah's room to find her haunched over the toilet breathing heavily
"Li?" Ray said in a small voice "you feeling better?"
"Yeah" Aaliyah said mustering you some strength to get up "i dunno why it was so worse today"
"Today? Aaliyah how long as this bee happening?" Ray asked
"started last week but it's only been small" Aaliyah answered
"We need to get you a to a doctor!" Aleesha said "it could be a bug"
"or a baby" Ray answered
"no no. i'm fine" Aaliyah said moving to start packing

Just then the door swung open and Richards mum walked through.
"She said it's been like this for the past week" Aleesha explained after greeting
"Oh? then it's nothing serious my child you're probably pregnant" Richards mum smiled
"No God no ma" Aaliyah exclaimed "we use a condom everytime."
"I said that, now Richard is alive" Richards mum laughed
"Thank God for that mishap" Aleesha joked
"I brought some remedies, here are the instructions make sure she follows them strictly" Richards mum said handing Aleesha a bag full of stuff "you should be better before the week ends my dear"
"Thank you" Aaliyah smiled

With that Richards mum gave her goodbyes and left. The girls went and began packing their bags. Checked out and made their way to the airport. Yashua thanked them for a great 3 days before watching them board their flight and make their way to Puerto Rico.

"I'm bored" Richard groaned
"Hi bored, I'm Erick" Erick smiled
"Whoever told you you were funny was lying" Joel said across the room
"Funny you say that cause Aaliyah did" Erick smirked
"She was lying" Zabdiel said quickly
