Finn and Wells were caring Jasper as Clarke walked just in front of them and I led the way back to the camp. For not being around much of the Ark, and anything in general, I was doing surprisingly well with my directions.

I got us back to camp just a few minutes after the sun had set, the orange and yellow glow of fires helping as it guided me.

"They're back!" A kid yelled when he saw me walking closer to the walls being constructed followed by Clarke and the others. Bellamy and Murphy were in the back of the group carrying my second ground kill in a perfectly good tent cover. I moved out of the way as Clarke, Finn, and Wells rushed Jasper into the drop ship. The former giving commands to Monty before they disappeared.

When dinner was brought through the gates the delinquents gathered around as Murphy and Bellamy opened up the tent to display the panther.

"Who's hungry!" Bellamy's rhetorical question was received with screams and shouts as they grew excited we finally had food.

While they were roasting the panther I took the time to venture out of the walls and soak up the moonlit forest. I found myself in a small clearing that the moon shone perfectly to the center like a spotlight. I slipped my hair out of the high ponytail I had it in all day and shook it out. Relieving the pressure on my head and tilting my head back to catch the pale light on my slowly tanning skin. I took my leather jacket off and set it down, my boots and socks following as I took out my dagger from its sheath.

I moved back into the middle of the clearing and began to move to the music in my head. If you didn't know who Persphyni Atlys really was you'd think I was dancing, my movements fluid and precise. But I was simply warming up to practice with my dagger. Doing the same training technique, only this time I had the actual physical weapon.

I'm this moment, I was free. Or as Clarke likes to say. In this moment, I'm not stranded in space. Hell yes to that.

I walked back into camp, my timing perfect as they had just finished cooking the panther.

"First slice should go to Bellamy!" I heard a kid yell out. Followed by yells of agreement. I shook my head and continued past the line of people and headed towards the drop ship. Murphy caught my eye as I passed and he sent me a large smirk. I rolled my eyes and sent him a small middle finger back when I had already turned away.

I found Clarke and Finn sitting closely together and decided to walk back out and stand on the ramp. My back leaning against the ship, watching as the kids in line began to get their wrist bands taken off for food. Finn joined me shortly after, he too watched the exchange happening.

"I feel dumb I didn't notice it before." He started, his voice low as he spoke.

"I'm assuming Murphy bragged?" He let out a small bark of laughter.

"Maybe like the entire time we were trying to get the vines off of Jasper." I chuckled at this and gave Finn a nudge.

"You know, when you follow directions you aren't so bad." He faked hurt, putting a hand over his heart and smiling when I let out a small laugh.

"You know, when you talk and smile you aren't so bad." This time I pretend to look offended. Only really I was holding off memories that tried to surge in.

"Thank you. For doing what you did in the skybox. I know you didn't know what you were doing, Murphy already shared that with me too. You just did a lot for us. Even if we only knew you by your voice and the stories you'd tell or songs you'd sing. We even came up with an alias for you. Songbird, the mystery voice in the vents." I laughed giving him a small push.

"Who's dumb idea was that?"

"Octavia's. She had been asking people if they knew who the singer was. Saying she was like a songbird, and I guess it just stuck." I went to reply but was cut off by Clarke coming to stand next to Finn.

"He's stable for now. But, without medicine....." she turned her head towards the fire. "They're taking off their wristbands for food? No, no way. I won't do it." She seemed desperate as she turned to look back at Finn and I.

"Don't worry," I started looking at Finn and giving him a small smirk.

"You don't have to." He finished shooting me a smile letting me know he was on board.

Together we strode up to the fire, out paces matching as we got to where the rationed cuts were sitting near Murphy.

"Whoa, whoa. Wait, wait, wait." Murphy spoke, his voice quiet as he went to grab my hand to stop me from reaching for the meat.

"What, you think you play by different rules?" His words were directed towards Finn as he looked straight passed me.

"I thought there were no rules." Got him there, I grabbed three sticks as Murphy stood watching Finn. I handed the latter two of them for him to bring back to Clarke and turned back to Murphy.

"Don't say anything. Plus, I think if you want me to be on your side then you have to get on mine first." I brought up the words he had spoken to Bellamy when he first found out who I was. "Thanks for cooking my kill." I smiled towards Murphy and sent Bellamy a smirk before walking away.

I didn't need to look to tell he was angry, his fist were clenched and his face was dark when I had begun to walk over there. Plus the sound of a fist colliding with someone's face gave me all the proof I needed.

"Guys! Bellamy! Guys!" I turned my head from the small creek I had found and was currently washing the blood from my shirt. I saw two flames moving back towards camp, and away from the voice. I rung my tank out and pulled my leather jacket on, not wanting to put my wet top on right away. I slipped my socks and boots on before walking towards the noise, my dagger drawn as I trudged through the nearly pitch black forest, the moonlight not reaching past the trees.

"Hello?" There it was. I moved closer towards the noise and nearly fell over at the sight.

"You just, uh, hanging out?" I asked the kid hanging from the tree.

"Very funny." The boy deadpanned. "You think you could get me down before the grounders come. But then back up early enough before Bellamy comes back?" So Bellamy did this.

"I take it you're either a victim to his bullying or one of his cronies who did something he didn't like." The boy was silent as I slid my dagger back into my sheath.

"Names Atlys." I broke the silence.

"Atom."

"Now Atom," I started, reaching up to the tree I was about to climb. Second tree today and in the dark, "I think sense I'm risking my neck to get you down, you have to tell me what you did to get Bellamy," I spat his name, "to tie you up to a tree and leave you for the grounders and bugs." I had made it to be eye level with the boy who turned his head to look at me.

"He watched me kiss his sister." I snorted thinking he was joking.

"Oh shit, you're serious. Who's his si- Octavia." I smacked myself on the forehead. I was really off my game, that should have been the easiest connection to put together, and it was.

"Yeah, dude, you're fucked." I said climbing up the tree higher until I found where the rope was tied multiple times around a tree limb.

"Thank you for your optimism." I rolled my eyes as I began to unwind the rope.

"You know, I think you should go for it. Screw Bellamy, whatever the hell his last name is. If you really like her I say go for it." I gave him my advice whether he wanted it or not.

"Thank you."

"I wouldn't say that until you're all the way down."

"What do you me- ow!" I laughed as I began to climb back down the tree.

"You sounded like a cat. Now let's go. I passed a cool looking cave we can lay low in until dawn." I jumped from the tree and began to lead the way back to the creek. Atom followed, his rope dragging on the forest floor as we went.
