Black, the only thing I dreamed about. The darkness that took over my life and became me. That's the one thing I liked. I never had dreams, and if I did I couldn't see them. The darkness acting as a safety blanket.

A loud clang sounded, waking me from my sleep. Followed by a low moan. I slowly opened my eyes and was surprised to see Atom looking down at me.

"Good morning." He laughed as I groaned and slowly began to unravel myself from the blanket around me.

"Glad to see you're feeling better." I wrapped the blanket under my arm and began to walk back to camp, Atom followed close behind me. I thunk was heard as we got closer to camp. Another kid who I surprisingly hadn't noticed before was walking behind us.

"That's how it's done." Great. I rolled my eyes as Atom continued to walk in Fake's direction.

"We searched a half-mile, all directions. No sign of Trina or Pascal." I snorted at the second name. Sounds like a reptile. I let Atom and the other kid walk towards Murphy and Bellamy as I continued on my way to camp.

"Visit your special tree when you were out there?" I would have laughed at the burn had Jasper not moaned this time more in pain.

"Atom took his punishment, let him go." Oh, if Jasper hadn't been in pain right now and my curiosity hadn't been spiking, I would have loved to lay one on him. Blake the Fake, I think he's got a new nickname.

I took off in a jog away from the small group and towards the drop ship. I kept the blanket tucked in my arms as I went, even draped it like a cape when I began to climb up the ladder.

"The grounders cauterized the wound. Saved his life."

"Saved his life so they could string him up for live bait." Finn spoke walking closer to Clarke and Jasper as I climbed up the ladder.

"Garden of Eden this ain't."

"You can say that again." Clarke and Finn turned towards me. Clarke had a small smile on her face as Finn smirked.

"Had enough beauty rest?" Finn taunted.

"As if I need beauty rest." I walked up to stand beside Clarke giving her a small hip check.

"How's he doing?" After I asked she turned back to the large wound on Jasper's chest.

"This is infected. He could be septic." I shared a worried glance with Finn before turning back to Clarke who quickly changed the subject.

"Any progress in using the wristbands to contact the Ark?" I followed Clarke's gaze to Monty who sat in front of a lantern.

"Monty?" I looked at Clarke surprised when she basically yelled his name. This was really eating her alive.

"Hey, Wells." I quietly greeted the teen who had just climbed up the ladder onto our level. He gave me a slight nod and continued to walk over to us.

"That would be a firm no." I let out a sigh at Monty's answer. So what if I didn't like the Ark, there are innocent people up there. I was willing to give them a second chance to show me that not everyone up there was a monster who enjoyed blood sport.

"How's he doing? I felt the tension when he stepped in behind me trying to wedge his way next to Clarke.

"How does he look like he's doing Wells?" Clarke snapped. I looked at Finn and we shared a small look as we both simultaneously stepped away from Jasper and the other two. I walked around to where Finn was in order to not be around the hostile Clarke.

"Hey, I'm just trying to help." Wells softened his voice, trying to calm the blonde. I knew Clarke was panicking with not being able to help Jasper, nor have working communications with the Ark, and Wells was really not helping at this moment.
