"Oye! Blake!" I yelled busting through the tent. "Get your clothes on, and ass out of bed. You can sleep around later. Clarke, Finn, and Myles are still out there. I'm arranging a search party." He seemed shocked and almost worried that I had bursted into his tent. "Today, junior." I laughed as I remembered his small knife. "Guess it really was size appropriate." I heard Bellamy growl as he threw a pillow at me. But I had already walked out of the tent.

I was suppressing the urge to punch a tree. Three of our people went missing and Bellamy was in his tent sleeping away. Little shit.

"We got the walkies?" I asked Monty as he left the dropship, gun in hand.

"Raven should be bringing them. You got Bellamy?" I scoffed at the question.

"If he isn't waiting for us by the gate I'm going to murder his ass." Monty nodded as we walked up to the small search party I had made. There was supposed to be five of us. Monty, Raven, Octavia, Bellamy, and myself. Hopefully the Blakes were already at the gate waiting for the rest of us. It would make the job so much easier.

Speaking of easier, Raven had caught up to Monty and I, three walkies in hand.

"Raven, Octavia. You two are together. Monty, you and Bellamy. Then I'll take the third walkie." I said as Raven handed two of the walkies to Monty and me.

"No. You and Monty go together, and I take the third walkie." Bellamy tried to argue grabbing the walkie from my grasp.

"Go float yourself, Blake. I'm taking the third walkie." I was angry. The sudden emotional flare startling everyone.

"You two both take the third walkie. I'll go by myself." Monty said trying to defuse the tension that was rising between us.

"Actually, you know what. I'll stay at camp. You four better find those three, or you're going to wish you were the ones lost from camp." I didn't leave room to argue as I shooed them away. Walking back inside the camp and towards the cooking meat over the fire.

"Who wants to hear a story?" The crowd of teens cheered as I stood up on a small tree stump.

"Perfect." I took a breath in, smirking at the waiting faces. "Long ago in ancient history, there was a mother named Thetis. This mother bore a son whom would become the most fearsome warrior, invulnerable as the River Styx had made him so. All but one area. Her son's name was Achilles. And his weakness was his Achilles heel."

"Our hero dies with an arrow to his heel. The cuts and wounds on his upper body nothing as he crumbles in a heap." Dramatic pause. "To die. The once almost invincible hero was struck down by Paris whose arrow had been guided by Apollo." I had made it back to the stump I began telling the story on.

"The war is over. Achilles is dead, but the Greeks were victorious." I now know why I was telling this story.

"There will come a time when even the best of us get shot down. When the grounders do find a way around the ravine, we must be ready. And we must be ready for the losses that will come. I told you this story so you could mentally prepare yourselves for when I do fall in battle. Because I won't let the grounders defeat us while I still breath. When the time to fight comes, I will stand by your sides and fight until my last breath." I looked at the group of teens.

"Will you?"

"Yeah!" Several of them chorused.

"Will you stand by me and fight for your brother and sister next to you?" I raised my voice louder.

"Yeah!" More of them shouted.

"Will you stand for yourself, fight for a future you want to have?" Louder.

"Yeah!" They were standing up now.

"When the time comes, will you give everything and be remembered as a friend, brother, sister. As one of the 100 who never stopped fighting and never will surrender!"

I smirked as the crowd yelled back in response.

"Good. When the grounders come, we're going to give them hell."

"Come on! These foxholes aren't gonna build themselves." I rolled my eyes as Bellamy order around a group of teens. I was helping Raven and Jasper dig to put in landmines.

The party of four returned only, one was replaced. Monty had been taken during the search, but they had found Myles. I spent a solid twenty seconds beating myself up for not just going with him, then Raven asked me to help her. So here I am. Anger probably oozing from my pores.

"Better hope those landmines work." I angrily stuck the shovel back into the dirt, scooping it out and making the hole just a little bigger.

"All the gunpowder we're wasting we could be making more grenades." I shoved my shovel in and leaned my arm against it staring at Bellamy.

"Why don't you try one? See if it works for us." Bellamy stared unimpressed.

"Cute." He looked down at Raven. "I need this entire section mined by morning. Then you finish the south field." I pushed away from the shovel and walked over to Bellamy.

"No. I told we'd go looking for Clarke, Monty, and Finn tomorrow morning." I told him as I got closer.

"And I told you, no one leaves camp." We squared off, Raven and Jasper moving up behind me.

"We can't just abandon our people." Raven said as she stepped up beside me. "You want to lead them? Show them you give a damn."

I went to talk but a gunshot cut me off. I snapped my head in the direction of the shot to see a boy quickly stand up shaking his head. It was Sterling.

"Hey!" I walked behind Bellamy as he quickly approached the kid. "What the hell is the matter with you?"

"I'm sorry man, I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day." Bellamy climbed up the small hill to get to him. I stayed lower down knowing if I went up there one of them was going to get punched. It'd probably be Bellamy.

"We've all been on watch all day!" Bellamy roared slamming Sterling into the tree he had fallen asleep on. "That bullet was one less dead grounder."

"Bell, you're scaring people." Octavia said as I began to climb up the hill.

"They should be scared!" I set a hand on Bellamy's shoulder getting him to release Sterling.

"The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is up!" Bellamy said walking back down the hill I had just climbed.

"The grounders are out there right now, waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do!" I remained standing on the hill, taking some breaths as I waited for his next point.

"Clarke, Finn, and Monty are gone, probably dead, and if you want to be next, I can't stop you. But no guns are leaving this camp." That was one thing we both did agree on. "This camp, is the only thing keeping us alive!"

Bellamy was stressed, and taking out that anxiety as anger on the teens.

"Everyone, get back to work! Blake, a word." Once I had dismissed the crowd I walked down the hill to Bellamy. "Let's take a walk. Into camp." I clarified.
