Gunshots rang out, as grounders charged. Their goal was the front gate, but it wouldn't be that easy.

I had only gotten three stragglers the first wave, utter disappointment filled me as I slit their throats ending them quickly. Their blood coating my leather jacket and black tank top as they dropped to the ground.

"Bellamy!" My head snapped to the left as I heard Miller yell. I scanned the area around the front gate and found no one, so I ran. I ran faster when I saw Bellamy being pinned to the floor. Just to the right off him Miller was too.

I calculated my steps and came in flying, one dagger to the throat for the grounder in Miller, one slice of the arm to the grounder on Bellamy as Octavia came from the other side. I figured she'd want to save her brother, so I saved the kill for her.

"Persphyni?" I didn't respond as I was already running back to the front gate. Avoiding arrows as I ran. Getting to the gate just in time to be met with a herd of grounders.

"They've broken through, there's hundreds of them. They're headed for the gate. Game over man!" I twirled the daggers in my hands, gripping the hilts as the grounders ran my way. Not yet it wasn't.

I held my ground as the first section came, meeting them head on. Five versus one as I ducked under an outreached sword, slicing the thigh of the grounder then spinning and kicking another in the chest.

I had the five grounders who got to me first in a heap on the ground by the time the next few came.

My name is Persphyni Atlys Kane

Another three dead.

Bringer of Death. Bearer of the World.

I dodged an arrow as I sliced a grounder navel to neck while kicking another back as he came with his own small knife.

Protector of the 100.

I wouldn't let them get to the gate. I couldn't. Blood covered me as I killed. A wake of dead grounders as I bore my wounds with pride. The blood coming from me oozing with pride as I continued to fight.

Protector of my family.

I ducked low, dropping to the floor and spinning as I tripped one grounder, the other two who had tried to stab me thrust the end of their sword into the other. Judging from their warrior like lifestyle, they aren't being very battle smart.

Killer. Murderer. Assassin. Protector. Friend. Not alone.

I leaped and spun in the air, dodging an arrow as it scraped my shoulder and dropped downwards dragging my daggers with me. Two more dead grounders as I stood fifteen feet from the gate.

I am Darkness.

I was surrounded in grounder bodies. Covered in grounder blood. Caked in sweat and blood of my own as I stood tall and strong in front of the gate. My silver blades covered in red, my hands stained with blood, my face painted in deep red, and my body soaked.

I was bleeding but I didn't care. All I cared about was keeping this gate. And I would until my last breath. I watched a hoard of grounders slow as they saw me standing amongst their fallen. My five eight figure covered in black and red, hair swinging in a ponytail braid behind me.

I was a living flame, the fire in me burned so bright that everything was so clear. I am the soul. And I would use mine to protect my family.

I watched grounder after grounder fill in behind the first group that had stopped. I scanned the large gathering as they waited. This would be my end. And I would take as many as I could.

The first wave of the new batch came. I flipped the dagger in my right and met them in the middle. Gunshots rang out from inside the wall. The gunners. I didn't spare a glance as I sliced my way through, leaving some to the gunners as I made my own path. The second wave came and I did the same.

Swing, slice, dodge, block, kick.

I was a whirlwind of flame. The second wave was demolished by the time the gunners shot down the last of the first group.

There was an explosion that stopped everyone in their tracks. I took the time to back up towards the dead bodies and the front gate. My eyes hesitantly drifting up to the sky were a space craft was entering the atmosphere. The Ark?

I didn't let myself stand and watch amazed, we were in the middle of a battle. I flipped my daggers in hand and turned back to the waiting grounders.

"Take down the gate! Archers! Aim towards Wanlida." That has to be Tristan. I scanned the woods just as the third wave came, the fourth following close behind and the fifth right behind it. I held my ground. Knees bent and hands at the ready as the first of the third wave reached me.

Until the end.

I was Death. Every grounder I touched fell. Blood spilled from their necks and limbs as I cut them down. One by one.

Ignoring the several new cuts along my arms and legs, the sword slash across my stomach that I had barely moved out of the way from. The archers hadn't fired as the grounders were in the way, just like planned.

"We can't get a clear shot!" I heard a gruff voice shout from the woods.

"Fall back to me!" Tristan again. The remaining of the fifth wave dropped back, but I was still occupied with the last of the fourth.

Then the arrows came. In sets of ten, all aimed for me. The gunners above continued to do their job as I fought, moving around the arrows when I could and ripping them out when I couldn't.

I felt my adrenaline wearing thin as blood poured from the wounds. By the time I killed the last grounder, I was shakily standing on two feet.

I remained brave, face a mask hiding my exhaustion, as I spun my daggers.

"Who's next?" My voice quieter than a yell but loud enough it flowed through the forest.

My eyes drifted over the forest as I heard shuffling, my green made eye contact with brown and I gave him a small smile.

Until the end. I mouthed.

"Take the gate!"

I spun my daggers, meeting the approaching warriors. This would be my final stand. And so I charged, letting out a loud battle cry of my own.

For my family, the 100, Clarke, Raven, Octavia, Finn, Jasper, Monty, Miller, Wells, Charlotte, Atom, Murphy, for my dad. For Bellamy.

I spared him one final glance before I got lost in the sea of blood and silver. Before I got lost in my domain.
