"Move! Move! Move!" I yelled from where I stood on the outside of the open gate. Thankful I hadn't shut it right away. "Jasper you see anything!" I yelled up to him as I kept shuffling people through. The panicked yells worried me. What had happened.

"I don't see anyone!" Jasper responded, yelling over the crowd of teens rushing into the gate. "Bellamy! What happened!" I roared to the opposite side of the gate where Bellamy stood.

"They're right behind us! Go! Get behind the wall!" Octavia's voice was muffled as people ran passed her.

"Shut the gate! Shut the gate!" Finn came running with Raven hooked over his shoulder.

"Bellamy!" I yelled as I made sure I was the last one and helped shut the gate. Once it was closed I hopped up next to him. "What the hell happened out there!" Clarke climbed up on the other side of him. The three of us looking out.

"Grounders. Star to the face." I looked down at the kid they had just dropped. The weapon sunk so far into his head, the precision and strength to get that imbedded. If that was only the scouts I didn't know how they would fair when the rest of the army came.

"Where are they? Why aren't they attacking?" Bellamy asked aloud. I eyed the forest, my mind turning as I thought of possibilities.

"Scouts, waiting on the rest of the army. They won't attack until they have numbers." I spoke from the right side of Bellamy, still looking into the forest, my arms crossed as I scanned the trees.

"And we're doing exactly what they wanted us to do." Clarke added as she crouched slightly at the wall.

"What are you talking about?"

"They wanted all of us in the camp. Keep us closed in and they can attack from all sides. Or force a surrender." I explained, the last part relating to me.

"Lincoln said the scouts would be the first to arrive." Clarke said turning towards Finn and Octavia as she made her way over to us.

"If it's just scouts we can fight our way out. That's what Lincoln would do." I shook my head at Octavia's words.

"It's not smart, Lincoln wouldn't do that. We don't know where they are and you've already backtracked far enough that the army is closer than before. You'd die. One by one, being picked off out in the open." I said my arms still crossed as I turned to Octavia. "I'm sorry. But Lincoln is smart and so are you. You know there's a slim chance of survival."

"We're done doing what that grounder would do. We tried it and now Drew is dead." Bellamy said jumping off the platform Clarke and I were still standing on. "You want to be next?"

"That grounder saved our lives." Finn interjected, standing up for Lincoln. "I agree with Octavia. For all we know there is one scout out there."

"One scout with insanely good aim." Jasper bit back.

"Clarke, Persphyni, we can still do this." Octavia tried.

"Looking to you, Queen, Princess, what's it going to be?" Clarke looked at me.

"Pers?" I took a breath in and motioned for her to turn around with me.

"Clarke, you know what we have to do." She nodded, sighing.

"We're looking to you." She whispered as we turned back around.

"What's it gonna be, Queen? Run and get picked off in the open? Or stand and fight back?" I looked out to the crowd of teens.

"I told you once, that the time would come and the grounders would get passed the ravine and we would need to be ready for when they do. And they did. Now we must be ready. We must be ready for when they get to our door. Because Death is coming, he is sprinting towards us as we speak. But the grounders aren't the ones bringing him. I am." I scanned the crowd. "Today, when the time comes, we will fight."

Clarke and I hopped down from the platform.

"Clarke. If we're still here when Tristan-" Clarke cut Finn off.

"Lincoln said, scouts. More than one."

"Finn, they're already here." I added from behind Clarke.

"Looks like you've got your fight." Clarke said to Bellamy as I stood near the wall.

"Ok, then. This is what we've been preparing for!" Bellamy shouted. I walked to my tent, grabbing the second dagger Lincoln had given Octavia to give to me, and attached the sheath onto my left hip. My gun resting on my lower back. I could have done with a sword, the longer range would have made me feel better, but Octavia got the sword, and it made me feel better knowing she was going to be further away.

I turned to walk out of the tent flap and ran straight into a chest when I did. I staggered backwards, hands flying to my waist as I straightened myself up.

"Bellamy?" I looked into his brown eyes as he continued to hold onto my waist.

"I, uh, um." I set my hands on my hips and rose a brow.

"Bellamy, you're still holding my waist." He slowly slid his hands back, his fingers leaving trails through my tank top as he pulled them from under my jacket. "What did you need?"

"I, just, uh. I want to talk, but we can do it afterwards. Will you, uh. Where will you be?" I chuckled slightly and set my hands to my side.

"I planned on being at the wall, in front of the main gate." He seemed to let out a sigh.

"Good. I'll be in the north foxhole." I nodded smiling at the sheepish man.

"Good. I'll be close enough to save your ass again if I need to." I laughed when he rolled his eyes.

"Sure. I can't wait for it to be you needing to be saved."

"You're going to have to wait a long time for that, Fake."

"I'm quite patient, Shadow."

"We'll see, King."

"So we shall, Queen." We shared a smile before he stepped aside. "Come on, I told Clarke we'd meet her in the dropship."
