Where's My Attention (Bakugou X Reader)✅

"Good morning Y/n!" Beside you the green haired ray of sunshine Midoriya appeared out of no where.

"Why, good morning Midoriya! How are you?" You asked your classmate with the same energy he seemed to be full of. Before he could answer your boyfriend Katsuki pushed him aside and kissed you on the forehead.

"Good morning kacchan!" He said as he moved to the other side of you, ignoring the fact that he was literally pushed aside.

"Damn nerd." Bakugou grunted. The blond had noticed that you gave Midoriya a small hug which didn't sit well with him, but in truth it was nothing more than a hug, Midoriya was like a brother to you.

Katsuki scooped you up unexpectedly, "woah!" You exclaimed your heart was beating quickly, your face was red, as he brought you to class, cradled in his arms.

Later at lunch, you sat at the lunch table with everyone, next to you sat Bakugou who'd been more moody than usual. On the other side of you sat kirishima. You and everyone else sat there enjoying yourselves while having many interesting conversations. However every time another guy looked at you for too long you found yourself pulled closer to Bakugou. He was rarely like this unless he was jealous and you knew that well. Thinking back to everything that had happened so far since this morning you realize that he was moody because he was jealous, it seemed like the people around him were getting more attention than he was, "Oh my gosh, I totally forgot!" You stood up out of your seat holding your lunch. Everyone looked at you confused, Bakugou raised an eyebrow.

"What's wrong?" Mina asked with concern in her voice. The way you had said that was abrupt which raised suspicion in her and everyone else.

"Oh right, there's a test this afternoon and Bakugou promised to help me study." You responded with the quickest excuse that popped into your mind, though you felt bad that you lied you really did have a test that afternoon.

"Oh, sh!t you're right." Bakugou played along, he got up and you both went to the library. The both of you sat in the back of the library out of sight, "Hey, are you ok, why'd we leave the cafeteria?" Bakugou was concerned.

"You just seemed a bit upset all day so I just wanted to spend time with you." Something you appreciated about him was, though he didn't know why you got up and made that excuse he was worried and played along so he could make sure you were okay.

"Oh, you could...you could tell?" He seemed surprised and a bit embarrassed.

"Yeah, but it's ok. We all are like that some days. Can you tell me what caused this?" I asked him, I hated seeing him upset.

"Well, umm I just... It was because your ex called you last night while you were sleeping; I thought you'd leave me for him or someone else." He looked away, but I took his hand into mine, squeezing it tightly.

"Of course not, I love you. And I don't plan on leaving you till the day I die." He turned to look at me.

"I love you too." My face turned red and my heart was beating out of my chest when I heard him say that. He wasn't one to say things like that often. In fact this was the first time he said it to my face instead of when he thought I was asleep, or when I wasn't paying attention. Our lips locked and we kissed, we pulled away but soon we pulled each other back in then again we pulled away. When we did we heard a giggle come from behind the bookcase in front of us.

My eyes turned to see Mina peeking from the bookcase. She had her phone in hand when she noticed we were looking at her, she ran off. I turned to look at Bakugou but before I could he pulled me into another kiss. The bell rang and we had to pull away this time not by choice. He got up and helped me up then we walked to class holding hands on the way.

As we walked to class I realized that the test was in the class I was on my way to. Shit...I should've studied. It was worth it though. Next time I'll make sure I study.
