I have been home for a couple of days now and getting around slowly. This shit is for the birds. Thank god for Remi she's been taking care of the washing and feeding us and Violet of course.
Getting dressed was a bitch but I finally got my clothes on but Gray is having to put my shoes on and tie them.
"I hate you have to take me to therapy Gray," I said.
"It's ok it gives me a chance to drive this nice ram truck of yours." Gray laughs.
I chuckle. "I would of let you drive it without all of this Gray."
"I know I'm just messing with you. So how many times a week do you have to go?" He asked.
"Twice a week right now," I said.
Once at therapy Gray helped me in and said he would come back and get me just to call. He had to go pick something up for Cookie Grounds.
I wave him goodbye and slowly sit down and wait to be called. I feel like this is bullshit and I can have it heal on its own.
An older woman came out and got me and said I needed to fill out some paperwork before going back to the therapist.
After I filled it out she came out got me again and took me to a different room.
I wasn't in there long until a beautiful woman walked in the door. She smiled and placed a strand of hair behind her ear. "Hi, Mr. Reece I'm Avah." She smiled.
"Nice to meet you but please just call me Levi." I smiled.
"Great! So how are you feeling?" She asked.
"Very sore to be honest. I've been trying to walk some but sometimes it's only to the bathroom and couch."
"Ok, we got to get you up and moving before you get really stiff. What is it you do for a living?" She asked.
"I own a construction company here in town," I said.
"Oh is that how you had the accident?" She asked walking over to me.
"Yeah, stupid accident." I laugh.
"Oh, are you Reece construction group?" She asked.
"Yeah, that would be me." I smile.
"I think I've seen your signs around town." She smiled.
"More than likely so." I laugh.
"Ok, first I'm going to stretch out your legs." She said placing her hands on my legs and wow it's been a while since anyone has done that.
"How long will I need this walker?" I ask.
"Until your hip heals and gets stronger. You need to apply pressure to the walker instead of your hip."She said.
"I'm not that old for a walker." I laugh.
She turns around and laughs and I'm mesmerized by her blue eyes. They are a beautiful color. She's also got a nice figure and shining white teeth.
She catches me staring and our eyes lock for a second and the room is dead silent. "Umm we need to keep stretching out your legs and once you get stronger we will work on walking better." She said.
She came around my walker and helped me up on the table. She wanted to see my staples on my hip. "Next time maybe wear jogging pants or running pants it will just be easier." She smiled.
"Well my idiot brother helped me dress and this is what he said to wear." I laugh.
"Well tell him I said no to these." She pointed at my jeans.
"Oh, I can't wait to rub it in his face." I laugh.
"Ok these stretches may hurt a little but it will help in the long run just trust me ok?" She said.
"Ok, I'll trust you because I have houses to build." I chuckle.
I spent almost two hours with Avah and I hated to see our time end. "I know I said two days a week but I think I really need to see you three. Can you come back tomorrow?" She asked.
"I can get my brother to bring me. Shouldn't be a problem." I said pulling out my phone to text him that I'm ready.
"Ok cya tomorrow at the same time and remember while your sitting try and do some of the stretches I showed you ok?" She said.
"Alright I can do that and if I don't I have a couple of people to keep me in line." I laughed making it back to the door to wait on Gray.
Twenty minutes later I'm still sitting here waiting on Gray I'm going to kill him. As I was trying to get up someone's hand was on my arm. "Levi, why are you still here?"
"My brother... I've been waiting on him to pick me back up and I wanted to go outside for air," I said.
"Come on I'll help you outside I was about to take a break anyway." She smiled.
She kept her hand on my arm which made it heat up. I tried to shake it off and watch where I was going.
"Thanks, Avah I appreciate it. I didn't think this was going to be so difficult."
"It's going to take you a while Levi but if you work hard it won't take you long to be back on your feet." She said.
"Oh, there is my brother," I said.
"He has a nice truck." She smiles.
"Actually that's my truck." I laugh.
"Oh well come on I'll help you to the truck." She said putting her hand on my arm.
"Sorry, I'm late Levi! I got held up." Gray said.
"It's alright. Gray this is my physical therapist Avah." I said.
"Nice to meet you." She smiled.
She helped me get in the truck and said she would see me tomorrow.
As we start down the road Gray looks over at me and smirks.
"Not a word Gray!" I said.
"I didn't say anything but I saw the way you were looking at Avahhhhhhh." Gray laughs.
"Shut up will you," I said turning to look out the window even though he wasn't wrong.
