That night I was up and down with Alex but Levi got up a few times with me. I tried to let him sleep since he and Gray were going today to get us a Christmas tree.
I had talked to Melly and Remi and they were going out after work to pick out the decorations I wanted since I was still too sore to move around that much.
Spending time alone with Alex was the best feeling. He's such a good baby but boy does he have explosions in his diaper.
I feed and burp him and rock him back to sleep when Gray and Levi come back with a huge tree.
"Oh my is that big enough guys?" I laugh.
Gray laughs. "That was all your husband."
"Well, I wanted our first Christmas to be special." He smiled.
"I appreciate it and the girls went out to get decorations for us. I know Violet will want to help decorate." I said just as Alex let out a cry.
I turn and walk into his room and pick him up. I carry him into the living room and Gray walks over to take him. "Hey, little man let your namesake hold you."
I look at Levi and he grins. "Well, I'm going to go get the tree stand out of the garage.
"Hey, Avah can I get your help on something?" Gray asked.
"For sure what's up?" I ask.
"I want to get Remi a mother's ring for Christmas and I have a few designs in my phone. Can you help me pick the one you think she would like?" He asked.
"Sure show me what you got," I said.
He unlocks his phone and shows me four designs. "Ooh, I think she would like number two for sure!" I said.
"Which one do you like?" He asked.
"If it was for me I would say number four but for Remi definitely number two," I said.
"Thanks for being so helpful I couldn't decide and I need to get it ordered soon." He said bouncing Alex.
"What can I get her for everything she has done for me?" I ask him.
"Hmmm she mentioned she would like to go to the spa so maybe a gift certificate or something?" He said.
"You are full of great ideas and I think your nephew needs a diaper change." I laugh.
"I think he wants you then mom." He laughs handing him over.
I laugh and take him to his room to change his diaper just as Remi and Melly walks in.
"Where is my cute nephew?" Melly said.
"Be right out! Changing a stinky diaper." I laugh.
As soon as I walk out Melly has her arms open. So I hand him over to her because I am curious to see what Remi got for me.
"I got you just what you wanted. I'm going to go make you guys some food so when Violet gets home you can decorate." Remi said.
"I don't mind to help watch Alex while you take a shower or whatever you want while the guys set up," Melly said.
"I appreciate that Melly and Remi you know where all the cookware is so have at it," I said before walking upstairs.
I was digging clothes out of the closet when Levi walked in. "Hey babe what are you doing?"
"While I have help I'm going to take a shower while Melly watches Alex and Remi is making our food and when Violet gets home we can decorate our tree." I smiled.
Levi pulls me close and kisses my lips. "I love you! Go get your shower while you can."
"Would you like to take one with me even though you know we can't..." I said.
"No, I better pass because I'll want to touch you, plus Gray is waiting on me to finish setting up the tree." He chuckled.
"Ok, then Levi but give me another kiss first," I said puckering up my lips.
He grabs me and kisses me hard on the lips before smiling and walking out of the room. Damn my hormones are in an uproar and his ass looked great!
Once out of the shower I get dressed and try to pull my short hair up into a ponytail and head downstairs to find Remi putting enchiladas on the table and Violet runs up to hug me.
"Hey, sweet pea are you ready to decorate the tree?" I ask her.
"I'm so excited mommy." She smiles.
I look over at Melly and she smiled. "He's asleep."
"I was going to ask where he was," I said as she hands me the baby monitor.
"Now you make me want one and that's all Barry has been talking about." She said.
"Oh Melly that would be awesome. I can't believe he is mine even though he looks like Levi." I laugh.
Levi walks up... "But I hope he has Avah's eyes."
"He will be a heartbreaker like his Uncle Gray." He laughed.
"Alright, guys food is ready! Let's eat!" Remi said.
"Wait where are our kids?" Gray laughs.
"They are staying with my parents tonight," Remi said.
We all sit around the table and pigged out on the enchiladas. "Man, these are good can you teach me how to make this?" Melly laughed.
"I say that with everything she makes." I laugh.
"I lucked up with this one." Gray said winking at Remi."
"My Aunt Remi is the best and her cookies are my favorite." Violet giggled.
"Of course that's your favorite munchkin." Levi laughed.
I had just finished eating when Alex let out a cry. "I'll go he's probably hungry," I said.
I went into the room and he was whimpering. I picked him up and rocked him gently before sitting down and attaching him to my boob.
I run my fingers through his hair as he drank. His long eyelashes I wish I had. I might be biased but he is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen.
