Avah helped me back to bed and massaged my leg again. I could get used to this.
"I'm really happy you came back over. Violet was so excited for Remi to help her make the lasagna. Then she was worried you wouldn't like it." I said.
"It was really good. She might teach me how to cook." She laughed.
"Now that you have tucked me in bed do you really have to leave?" I ask.
"Honestly it's late Levi and I don't want to go home. I still have this strange feeling I'm being watched." She said.
"What the hell Avah? Did you feel that way last night?" I ask.
"Not here but when I got out of my car at the apartment it felt like it as it did today. I'm going to have to carry a purse and my gun." She said.
"Well come on and get in the bed," I said.
"I packed my scrubs in case you asked." She giggled.
She went over and closed the bedroom door then went into the bathroom to change into her pj's and come back out and cut out the light before crawling in bed beside me.
"I'm so glad your here," I said smiling at her.
"Thanks for letting me stay the night. I really need to find out what's going on." She said.
"Can I snuggle you?" I laugh.
"Aww, you want to be the big spoon, Levi? That works for me." She said sliding back into my chest.
I wrap my arm around her and smell her hair.
"Levi, are you smelling my hair?" She giggles.
"Maybe... It smells really good like coconuts." I said.
"Good sniffer Levi! I use coconut shampoo for this frizzy hair." She laughed.
"It's not frizzy. You have beautiful curls Avah." I said kissing her shoulder.
I turn over and look at him and smile. "I had a long day at work and I'm tired. The client after lunch is a jerk." She sighed.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"He just says crude stuff and calls me sexy when I asked him to stop and keeps asking me out which I say no to every time in the past three months. He's just annoying." She said.
"I may have to put him in line. I mean he doesn't need to be hitting on my woman." I smile.
"Your woman huh? Since when?" She asked.
"Since we saw each other naked." I laugh.
She wraps her arms around me and pulls me in for a kiss. "Maybe I just like kissing you."
"I like kissing you too," I said pulling her body closer to me kissing her again.
"We should probably sleep I do have a client in the morning." She laughed.
"Yeah and when Gray sees you here in the morning he's going to be smirking. When you helped me to the truck he teased me." I laugh.
"I'm sure he did. Goodnight Levi." She kisses me again and cuddled into my chest. It was the best feeling just having her close to me.
In the middle of the night, I wake up in throbbing pain. "Avah," I whisper.
"Levi are you ok?" She asked.
"Could you get me some meds please?" I ask.
"Sure I can do that." She jumped out of bed and went to the kitchen. I hadn't noticed the cute pj's she had on.
She walks back in and over to my side of the bed and hands me the meds. I swallow them down with some water.
"Hey, would you help me to the bathroom since we are awake?" I ask.
"Of course Levi." She grabs my walker and brings it over with a kiss then helps me up.
Once back to the bed she moves the walker and I continue to stand. I just want to wrap my arms around her and so I do.
"I just want to hold you standing up," I said as she hugs me close.
I cup her face in my hands and kiss her lips gently then lean in for a deeper kiss and she obliges.
"Ok, I think I need off this hip even though I would love to kiss more." I laugh.
"We can lay down and kiss if you want Levi." She giggled.
We get back in bed and she cuddles up to me and kisses me all over my face.
"What should we tell Violet in the morning?" She asked.
"We will just play it by ear and let her ask questions if she wants. That usually works better for Violet."
"Ok if you think that is best. What do I know I don't have kids." She giggles.
I pull her closer to me and kiss her face before wrapping my arm around her closing my eyes.
Her clock woke us up at 7:30 and she got up and took a shower and dressed in scrubs before Violet walked downstairs.
"Avah your here! yay!" Violet runs up and wraps her arms around Avah.
"Hey, pretty girl! I'm glad I got to see you before school." Avah smiled at her.
"Daddy! I'm so happy to see Avah." She giggles.
"I can see that munchkin. Are you ready for school?" I ask her.
"Not really I want to stay with Avah." She frowns.
"I'll come over this weekend and spend time with you and see if maybe my mom would like us to visit ok?" Avah said.
"Yay ok. I hope she feels ok. I'll make her a card!" Violet smiles.
"She would like that so much, Violet," Avah said just as Gray walked in.
"Morning guys! You ready to go Violet?" He asked.
"Yep, I'm ready Uncle Gray I just need my backpack." She said running out of the room.
"I'm assuming you don't need a sponge bath this morning Levi." Gray grins.
"Shut up and get out and take my child to school while I get touched... I mean stretched." I said.
"Uhuh, sureeeeee you did," Gray smirked and walked out the door.
