After Gray left with Violet I went back into the bedroom to find Levi sitting on the side of the bed doing exercises.
"Hey, I am going to head on out," I said.
He puckers up his lips and I walk over into his arms and kiss him. "Avah please call or text me if she comes back today and promise me that Melly will sit in on the meeting." He said.
"I promise Levi. I wouldn't ever put our baby in jeopardy." I said leaning down to kiss him.
"Ok have a good day ok. I love you both." He said.
"I love you too Levi," I said kissing him again and heading out the door.
Once at work I look around and don't see that woman or her vehicle. I walk into work and sit my things down before heading to Melly's office to explain the situation.
"Oh, Avah I most definitely will sit in on this meeting. We don't know who this crazy woman is and I'm not leaving you alone." Melly said.
"Thanks, Melly I know you wouldn't mind. I'm just going to text Levi and let him know." I said walking back to my office.
I pick my phone up off my desk and sit down.
📱Levi, I just wanted you to know that Melly said she would sit in on my meeting.
📱I'm glad you asked her. Just let me know when its scheduled.

I turn my phone on silent and slip it into my pocket and begin shuffling through paperwork and logging it in.
Joyce came and told me I had a meeting at 12 with Stephanie and I'm glad she scheduled it for lunch after I explained what was going on.
I texted Levi right before 12 and told him when it was happening. He didn't like he couldn't be there but I think I can handle this.
I went to the restroom and when I come back out Joyce told me she was out front waiting.
I tried to collect myself and walked out to greet her. "Follow me this way," I said leading her to the conference room. After she sits down I went and grabbed Melly.
"I hope you don't mind but this is my Boss and best friend Melly and I wanted her to sit in on our meeting• I said.
"It's fine with me as long as you don't care who knows your business." She shrugs.
"So what is this all about? You have been following me around and stalking me for what reason?" I ask.
"I'm sorry about all that but I didn't know how to approach the situation. Let me start from the beginning. I have been looking for you for a while and just when I gave up my private investigator led me to this place." She said.
"So why didn't you come in and ask to speak to me instead of stalking me?" I ask.
"Well, you see as I said before my name is Stephanie. Stephanie Anders and i'm your older sister." She said.
I watch as she pulls out paperwork and news clippings about the accident. "Our mother's sister kept me but she couldn't raise us both so she put you up for adoption."'She said.
"I knew I had an older sister but I never knew a name or what happened to you. " I said.
"From what I understand your name was not Avah but Sally and it was changed at the adoption." She said.
"Yeah, I don't look like a Sally." I laugh looking at Melly.
"I really just wanted to meet you and see if your life was better than mine. The aunt I got left with she was an alcoholic and my uncle was a woman beater." She said.
"I'm sorry to hear that Stephanie but umm this is a lot of information and I'm not sure how to process this. What are you wanting from me?" I ask.
"Nothing really. I don't need a sister or bratty nieces or nephews if you have them. I just wanted to know that I turned out better than you." She smirked.
"Sounds like your a jealous person who has far more time on her hands. If you want nothing from me then I would appreciate you leaving me alone and for the record my parents who raised me are wonderful people. I couldn't have asked for anyone better." I said getting up from the table
"Let me show you out, Ms. Anders," Melly said.
I walk back to my office fuming. She really has some nerve. I pull out my phone to text Levi.
📱I'm fine the meeting was stupid. I will tell you all about it over dinner. Love you.
📱I'm sorry baby. I love you too Avah.
"Boy, she was a piece of work," Melly said walking back into my office.
"What was the point of all of that?" I ask.
"To see if she had a better life than you? I say forget her. You are much better off Avah." She said.
"You are right Melly. I hope I never see her again." I said.
"Don't let her upset you it's not good for you know." She said.
"Thanks, Melly. I think I'm going to go on home." I said picking up my bag and phone.
"I'll walk you out because I don't doubt she isn't still sitting out there." Melly said.
She walked out with me but I didn't see her vehicle. I hugged Melly goodbye and got in my car and headed to my new house. I smiled when I think of Levi and Violet and this baby that's growing in me.
