Two months later...
Life has gotten back to normal. Business has picked up at work and we have been busy. Christmas is right around the corner and I've been buying stuff here and there and now it's almost time for Alex to make his appearance.
I'm excited but scared out of my mind. how is that going to come out of me? I love Violet and taking care of her but I have no experience taking care of a baby.
Levi is so excited he's counting down the days until he gets here. Let's not forget my mom she's so excited she made up a room for Alex and well Violet has her own room as well.
The treatments have helped her tremendously and she's back to her old self mostly. But I think Violet helps a lot with that.
I walk to my office to start logging info into the computer when I get a sharp pain but I play it off and continue my work until my next client walks in.
I've been helping this football player get back on his feet after breaking his leg. I get him set up on machines and walk over to talk to Melly when the pain hits again.
"Avah are you ok?" She asks.
"I think I'm having contractions," I said.
"Oh, crap call Levi now. You need to go to the hospital." She said.
I pick up my phone and dial the number when it hits me again and hand the phone to Melly.
📞Hey babe!
📞Levi, it's Melly umm I'm pretty sure Avah is in labor and I need you to get here asap.
📞Oh shit! I'm on my way now.
"Is he coming?" I ask grabbing my stomach.
"He's on his way now. Try to relax and breathe ok?" She said.
The football guy that I was training limped over. "My wife has had seven babies I kinda know what to do. Melly, can you get a cold washcloth or paper towel and wet it please?" He asked.
He made me sit down in a chair and told me to breathe in and out. Melly ran back out with a cold washcloth and applied it to the back of my neck and forehead.
Levi came running in like a bat out of hell and run over to me. "Baby, I'm here are you ok?" He asked with a scared look on his face.
"No I'm not but Jonny here helped me breathe and Melly cooled me down. Oh no, I'm having another contraction." I said.
"Thanks, guys for your help but let's get her to the truck," Levi said.
Even with Johnny's bad leg, he managed to help Levi get me in the truck. He turned his flashers on and we flew down the road.
As soon as he ran out of the hospital with the nurse my water broke in the parking lot. "Let's get you inside and have a baby." The nurse said patting me on the shoulder.
After an hour or so they have me upstairs situated in a room and waiting on baby Alex.
"Levi text Gray to let everyone know and I'll call momma," I said.
📞Hey Avah!
📞Hey momma! I just wanted you to know I'm in the hospital. My water broke in the hospital parking lot.
📞Oh goodness! I'm so excited! Do you want me to come to the hospital?
📞No just rest this could take a while and I know how the treatments make you feel.
📞I want to see pictures first thing you here? And Avah I love you very much. You will be a great mom.
📞I love you momma thank you! Levi will send you a pic as soon as he comes out.
📞I will be waiting! Love you!

"Remi wants to know if you want her to come here?" Levi asks.
"No, she doesn't have to do that as long as they are keeping Violet," I said.
"Gray said Violet is jumping up and down when he picked her up from school and told her." Levi laughed.
"She's going to be a great big sister I already know it." I smile.
"Have things settled down?" He asked grabbing my hand.
"I'm still having them but not as intense yet but I'm sure that is coming." I laugh.
"I won't leave your side even if you squeeze my fingers off and call me names." He laughed.
"That's not who I am but the pain could bring out a different person." I giggle.
The nurse walks in and checks me and says I'm only two centimeters so we have a long time to go. She gave me flavored ice chips before she went back out of the room.
"Looks like we are going to be a while babe," Levi said leaning down to kiss my forehead.
"Want an ice chip?" I ask him.
"I'm starving but I wouldn't dare eat in front of you." He said.
"Levi get Gray to bring you some food I'm ok really. I was able to eat my lunch before all this happened." I said.
"Only if you're sure." He said.
"I am sure. I'm so glad Melly and Johnny were there to help. He said his wife has had a bunch of kids." I laugh.
"That was nice of him. At first, when I walked in I was like who the hell is that man touching my wife." He laughed.
"Levi are you jealous?" I giggle.
"Oh yeah, I can be for sure. You don't know how beautiful you are Avah." He said leaning down kissing my lips.
A little while later there was a knock at the door and it was Gray he brought Levi some food and he walked over and squeezed my hand.
"Since he's named after me do I get to catch him when he comes out?" Gray laughs.
"I'll beat your ass." Levi chuckles.
"I love messing with him. I hope you have a smooth delivery. Send pics asap Levi we will be waiting." Gray said before leaving.
"God that food smells so good," I said trying not to watch him eat.
