I get up and shower and put my scrubs on and do my hair when Violet comes down. "Avah will you braid my hair for school?" She asked.
"Sure I will sweet pea." I smile at her.
"Daddy can Avah take me to school?" She asked him.
"Not this morning she has work plus Uncle Gray will be coming to get you." He said.
"Okay, maybe another day." She smiled.
"I would like that Violet but I have to get your dad's exercises in and then to go to work." I smile.
"Ok well, can I have some cereal then?" She asked after I finish her hair. "Sure you can come on I'll get it for you while daddy gets up," I said
As I sit the bowl in front of her there was a knock at the door. I walk over and over the door to a smiling Gray.
"Good morning Gray! Violet is eating her cereal and she will be ready." I smile.
"Morning Avah and Violet. Alright, I'll just go talk to my brother until she is done." He said walking toward the bedroom and stopped. "Oh by the way Avah Josh is supposed to have info for me today."
"Oh, Gray I'm so excited about that. Thank you so so much." I said.
"It's no problem. Hopefully, by the time we have the bbq this weekend, I will have everything set up for her." He said.
"Thanks again!" I smile as I clean up the kitchen and grab a few things for my lunch. I need to stop by the store now that I'm the responsible adult.
Violet finished her cereal and brought it over to the sink and washed it out and put it in the dishwasher. "Wow, thanks, Violet." I smile.
"It's what I do." She giggled and wrapped her arm around my waist for a hug.
"I hope you have a good day at school and I will see you this evening ok? Now go give your daddy a hug bye ok?" I said.
"Okay!" She said walking toward the bedroom. It wasn't long until she and Gray come out and left.
I walk back into the bedroom to find Levi sitting on the side of the bed dressed. "Wow, you got dressed, or did Gray help you?" I asked.
"No help all me. I'm ready for some exercise before you leave." He smiled.
"Gray said he should have an answer for me by this weekend on that doctor for mom," I said massaging his leg.
"He told me the same thing. I hope this comes through so your mom can get the best care." He said.
"I need to call her today or stop by and let her know I'm living with you guys. She would be hurt otherwise. We also need to clean out my apartment." I said.
"Don't worry my guys and Gray are going to help with that too." He laughed.
"Well, I guess I don't have to do anything but be pregnant." I smiled rubbing my belly.
Levi pulls me close and kisses my belly and rubs his hand across it. "I love you and our baby too."
"I love you too Levi. Ok well, I have to get going to work. Are you going to be ok today?" I ask.
"Oh yeah, I'll be fine and find something to get into." He said standing up.
I wrap my arms around him and kiss him again. "I will see you this evening," I said kissing him again.
I grab my lunch and my bag that's locked in the closet and head out the door to my car.
Once at work, I talk to Melly and Joyce for a few minutes and then head to my room to do a mountain of paperwork until my client comes in.
At lunchtime, I pull out what I brought when Melly walks in. "So how are you?" She asked.
"Good! I moved in with Levi yesterday." I smiled.
"What? wow, I didn't think it was that serious." She said.
"Yeah, we said I love you to each other and I moved in because that woman is still coming by my apartment and another reason," I said.
She looks at me and a big grin appears on her face. "Your pregnant aren't you?"
"Shhh Melly it's a secret and no one knows but us," I said.
"How far?" She asked.
"Five weeks," I said.
"Omg, I'm so excited! But I won't say anything ok?" She smiled. "But how did Levi take it?"
"I thought he would be mad but he wasn't. In fact, he was very happy about it. The first person we plan to tell is Violet though." I said.
"That's a good idea and Violet she likes you?" Melly asked.
"Oh, we adore each other. She's never had a mother really and that's what she craves." I said.
"Is she dead?" Melly asked.
"No just a dead beat who signed her rights says when Violet was six or so I think," I said.
"Wow what a piece of work. I would love to meet her soon ok?" She smiled.
"Of, course Melly I'll bring her by." I smile popping a grape in my mouth.
Once the work day was over I left and headed to the grocery store. I was picking up some meat for dinner tonight and that woman who had been stalking me was standing right near me.
I went to turn and leave and she reaches out and grabbed my arm. "Please don't touch me. I don't know what you want but you're creeping me out." I said.
"I'm sorry Avah I don't mean to. Yes, I've gone about it the wrong way but I really just want to talk to you. My name is Stephanie." She said.
"Well call the office and make an appointment and we can sit down and talk but please stop following me. I'm willing to hear you out." I said grabbing the meat and walking off.
I was so nervous I couldn't wait to make it to my car and back to Levi's.
