Chapter 12

This is the most special day of my life. I'm finally getting married.

It's already 2PM and our wedding starts on 3PM. Si Dad ang maglalakad sa akin patungong altar, I'm wearing a white ball gown wedding dress my made of honor is Belle my bridesmaids are Khylie and other friends in modeling and the escort is my dad and the ring bearer is my 4 years old niece lastly there are 6 flower girls. Over 409 people were invited including our family and friends and we also invited a few media. Lahat ng mga tao ay nasa simbahan na tanging ako si dad at Belle lang ang natira. I'm already holding the bouquet.

"Ikakasal ka na talaga, I'm so happy for you." emosyonal na sabi ni Belle na inaayos ang aking buhok.

"Thankyou sa lahat-lahat Belle, tinulungan mo ako sa lahat." tumayo ako at niyakap siya.

"Gaga! 'wag kang umiyak yung make-up mo alalahanin mo." paalala niya sa akin at kinalas ang pagkakayakap tumawa naman kaming dalawa.

"Tama na iyang chikahan niyo baka isipin ng son-in-law ko na hindi ka sisipot." sabi ni Dad pagkapasok niya. He's wearing a grey tuxedo.

"Alright, OA pa naman 'yon." sabi ko at tumayo mula sa pagkakaupo.

Dad and Belle helped me and we walked towards in my luxurious bridal car. Hindi kami sa iisang sasakyan dahil tanging bride at driver dapat ang nakasakay dito 'di ko alam kung maiihi ba ako o ano dahil kinakabahan ako at excited. Huminto ang sasakyan sa tapat ng simbahan malalaman mo talaga na may ikakasal ngayong dahil andaming bulaklak sa labas may dalawang lalaki rin na nakatayo malapit sa pinto. Tinulungan ako ni Dad at Belle sa paglabas ng sasakyan huminga muna ako ng malalim bago humawak sa balikat ni Dad nasa likuran naman namin si Belle inaayos ayos pa nito ang likod ng wedding gown ko. I'm so thankful to my supportive bestfriend.

"This is it." sabi ko sa sarili pinagbuksan kami ng pinto nang dalawang lalaki.

When the door opened my eyes automatically settled at the man standing in the aisle. Nagsimula na kaming maglakad ni dad kasabay din nito ang pagtugtog ng 'Beautiful in White' kinagat ko ang labi dahil pinipigilan ko ang pagtulo ng mga luha ko. The smile on his face didn't fade he's intently looking at me as my Dad handed me to him, madali naman itong tinanggap ni Zachary ang kamay ko.

"Alagaan mo ang anak ko, Zach." sabi ni dad at tuluyang pumunta sa kinaroroonan ni mom. Iniharap naman ako ni Zachary at bumulong ng 'I love you' dahilan ng pagtulo ng luha ko.

"Baby don't cry you'll ruin your make-up." he said softly. Humarap naman kami kay fathet at sinumulan ang seremonya. 

"We gathered here today in the sight of God to celebrate one of life's greatest moment, The Two Joining Hearts. In this ceremony today we will witness the joining of Zachary Savedra and Savannah Iris Amescua in marriage. If there is anyone who has just 'cause why this couple should not be united let them speak now or forever hold their peace." tanong ni father kung may tututol ba sa kasal. Mabuti namang wala tumaas ng kamay. Madami pang sinabi si father at nagsimula na kaming mag Exchange of Vows. Pinasunod naman ako ni father sa mga sasabihin nito.

I faced Zachary and hold his hand.

"I, Savannah Iris Amescua take you Zachary Savedra to be my husband, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our friendship and love you today, tomorrow, and forever. I will trust you and honor you, I will laugh with you and cry with you, I will love you faithfully, through the best and worst, through the difficult and easy. Whatever may come I will always be there. As I have given you my hand to hold so I give you my hand to keep." I said in tears. Zachary also repeated what father have told.

"I, Zachary Savedra take you Savannah Iris Amescua to be my wife, my partner in life and my one true love. I will cherish our friendship and love you today, tomorrow, and forever. I will trust you and honor you, I will laugh with you and cry with you, I will love you faithfully, through the best and worst, through the difficult and easy. Whatever may come I will always be there. As I have given you my hand to hold so I give you my hand to keep." he said softly.

"Savannah Iris Amescua, do you take Zachary Savedra to be your husband?" Father asked.

"I do." I said.

"Do you promise to love,honor, cherish and protect him, forsaking all others and holding only unto him forevermore?" Father asked.

"I do." I said.

Tumingin si father kay Zachary.

"Zachary Savedra, do you take Savannah Iris Amescua to be your wife?" father asked him.

"I do father." he said.

""Do you promise to love,honor, cherish and protect her, forsaking all others and holding only unto her forevermore?" Father asked him.

"I do." Zachary replied.

Lumapit si kuya kay father at inilahad ang mga singsing at bumalik sa pagkakaupo.

"Lord, bless and consecrate this Savannah Iris Amescua and Zachary Savedra in their love of each other. May this rings be a symbol of their true faith in each other, and always remind them of their love." Father said at binigay sa amin ang singsing.

Hinawakan ko ang kamay nito at dahan-dahan kong pinasok ang singsing. "I Savannah Iris Amescua, take you, Zachary Savedra to be my husband. To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, in joy and sorrow, and I promise my love to you. And with this ring, I take you as my husband, for long as we both shall live." I said and smiled him sweetly. Kinuha niya ang kamay ko at pinasok ang singsing.

"I Zachary Savedra, take you, Savannah Iris Amescua to be my wife. To have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, in joy and sorrow, and I promise my love to you. And with this ring, I take you as my wife, for long as we both shall live." he said and caressed my hair underneath my vail.

"Go now in peace and live in love, sharing the most precious gifts you have, the gifts of your lives united. And may your days be long on this earth I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." father said.

Zachary lifted my vail as he hold my cheeks and slowly kissed me. All I could hear is my heartbeat and the people cheering for us.  And that's the best thing ever happened to me.
