An: hiii, so I'm here with chapter two! In this chapter they'll be more about Thomas and Jesse's relationship along with maybe a bit of Jesse and George cuteness.

I hope you enjoy !

The next morning, Jesse had scolded Elise as they headed down to breakfast together. She glanced over at the Gryffindor table and earned a smile from George. She smiled back before looking back over at Elise and indulging in conversation as their new timetables were brought around.

"So what have you got today?" Jesse asked Elise hoping they had classes together "ugh, I've got double defence against the dark arts and potions what about you?" She looked at Jesse "I've got care of magical creatures and potions too~ looks like we've got potions together!" Jesse was happy about that, she already had a familiar face in her potions class, she hoped that she didn't have the troublesome twins with her in potions however it was likely she'd have at least one.

In the meantime, over at the Gryffindor table, George kept glancing over at Jesse, a smile crept onto his face as he did, he adored her and had since their 3rd year when he was placed next to her in potions. Her blonde curls cupping her face which was dotted with freckles. She was stunning and George only wished they were in the same house, she had always had a cold and stubborn personality when they had spoken but he saw her with her friends and the smile she owned and hoped he could at least once bring it out of her. However he was snapped out of his daydream by his brother.

George shook his head and glared at Fred "daydreaming about the slytherin?" Fred questioned, knowing it was correct. George ignored the comment and carried on eating "I don't know what you see in her, she's a slytherin it's like dating the enemy!" Fred spoke, maybe a little too loudly as he gained some strange looks from the Gryffindors around them. George swatted Fred's arm "shut up will you?" He replied, a blush forming on his face "I know she's on the Quidditch team but have you seen her play Fred? She's amazing!" He said with stars in his eyes "you're mad" Fred chuckled at George's word and went back to eating.

Jesse was heading towards her first lesson, care of magical creatures, Hagrid was the previous teacher however wasn't anymore, Jesse was said about such as she had enjoyed his lessons. Nether the less, she headed towards the classroom.

As she walked there a familiar 6"ft figure walked up next to her, Thomas "you have care of magical creatures too?" Jesse asked him which he nodded. She had a faint smile on her face at the thought of 2 hours with Thomas "so you like George Weasley huh?" He questioned which caused Jesse to blush "so what if I do.." she nudged him slightly "well you know you could've told me~ I know we've had a interesting past but I don't mind" he replied.

Jesse and Thomas had been confused with their friendship throughout their fifth year, they had kissed multiple times but Jesse was too confused to never progress it which Thomas was fine with. They never dated but the thought of telling him she had a crush on one of the Gryffindor beaters wasn't something she wanted. He was also on the slytherin quidditch team along with Jesse, they were both chasers meaning that they were directly against the opposing teams beaters.

Jesse soon reached the care of magical creatures classroom and took her seat. She enjoyed this class and needed it as she wished to work with dragons when she left hogwarts with being a potioneer as a backup plan. She pulled out her textbook: fantastic beasts and where to find them written by Newt Scamander, an author she adored and looked up to due to his research on magical creatures.

The lesson dragged on however it was enjoyable, they were learning about Grindylows which was thoroughly interesting to her. She had sat next to Thomas and they discussed many things during the lesson however not much as he knew Jesse needed this class.

As the teacher talked on, she thought about her parents. She knew she would see her dad when the first Hogsmeade trip rolled around which she was excited about. They usually argued about money due to their low paying jobs, Jesse was a 'half-breed' as many slytherins called her once they found out luckily Elise and Thomas didn't care for labels and still were Jesse's best friends. Both Elise and Thomas were 'pure-bloods'. Her parents also argued about her father, he was a werewolf which is why she was fond of Lupin when he taught last year. He was someone who she had met before through her father. He only managed to keep his job at Honeydukes because the shop owner didn't care for his werewolf side thankfully.

Not many knew about Jesse's fathers status except for the few who were soon obliviated to protect her from the other Slytherins. She never understood why she was placed in Slytherin, even though her mother was a pure-blood slytherin. She was kind as anything although she was Slytherin. Probably why she ended up with Jesse's hufflepuff father. Jesse was snapped out of her thoughts by Thomas "hey it's the end of the lesson" he said with a smile. Jesse nodded and stood up before collecting her bag and following Thomas out the room.

Potions class, another of Jesse's favourite subjects, with Snape as the professor it was easy for her to say the least. She saw the red head enter the room and shot him a smile before stopping herself 'what are you doing Jesse' she thought to herself as she had smiled at the boy. Snape had sat George and Jesse next to each other as they had worked well together in previous years. "So I guess we're partners again aye?" George said to Jesse as they sat down "seems like it" she responded

Snape had explained what potion they were to make before they got on with in, Jesse making sure George didn't screw it up in anyway "so what did you have this morning?" George asked, trying to make friendly conversation with the girl "care of magical creatures" she responded whilst mixing the potion "oh cool~ so do you want to progress it?" He asked her which she nodded in reply "my brother works with dragons pretty cool huh?" He spoke, hoping it would spike a better conversation. Her eyes lit up with this fact "really? That's so cool, I would like to work with dragons too" she said with a small smile spread across her face "well if he ever comes over to visit I'll be sure to introduce you" he replied with a nod. She smiled brightly with the response "oh really! That would amazing George" she stood stirring before she carried on tell George what to put in.

The lesson had gone surprisingly well, they managed to make a almost perfect potion, which got them praise from professor Snape. Jesse had not noticed that Elise had overheard the whole conversation between herself and George which made dinner in the great hall interesting to say the least. However she felt that maybe her and George would become friends over the next year.
