Throughout the next week, the decrees got worse and worse, with at least one being put up everyday. If Umbridge saw a make and female student near one another, she flicked her wand and pushed them apart, which angered a lot of students.

It was Wednesday again, and time for a DA meeting, George and Jesse didn't see each other much except from lessons as they both had quidditch practice along with Jesse constantly studying for her lessons and doing head girl duties.

Harry announced that they would be doing duels and Jesse walked up to George "I'm definitely going to duel you" she spoke to him and giggled "oh really? Think you can beat me?" She nodded "oh I'm not holding back"

After a few duels, it was Hermione going against Ron. Hermione ended up winning and putting Ron on his butt, he explained that he 'let her' whilst majority of the girls surrounded her and congratulated her.

"Now.. Jesse? George?" Harry spoke warning a nod from Jesse. She stood where Hermione stood and George was opposite her. George shot a spell at her which she deflected making him stumble back. Jesse shot a expelliarmus at george's hand and knocking his wand out of his hand, before she shot stupefy at him and knocked him back.

George was gobsmacked, he didn't realise how good Jesse was and stood up "well done Jess~" he spoke. Jesse picked up his wand and handed it to him "here~" George took the wand and thanked her "I told you I wouldn't hold back" she said with a wink.

Harry allowed us to leave after and explained that we would be doing the patronus charm. Many people left but in small groups as Umbridge had created the 'high inquisitor squad' which was mainly made of slytherins, Umbridge an offered a place to Jesse as her being a head girl however she declined by saying she wouldn't have time with her head girl duties and with Quidditch.

She walked down the corridor as she left with Elise to make it less suspicious as they were best friends, they ran into Thomas who had one of the high inquisitor badges on "so you joined huh?" Jesse asked him. He nodded and smiled weakly "she basically made me" he added. Elise nodded "well don't be a dick to us yeah? Especially Jesse and George"

Jesse had told Thomas about her and George before he could find out through someone else, he accepted it and hoped them happiness, which made Jesse happy that he accepted them as a couple "don't worry~ I'll make sure to turn a blind eye" he spoke which made Jesse happy as the three headed back to the common room.
