Jesse had finished school and was at the Burrow, you would think she would be excited to see the Burrow for the first time as she stepped through the door.
She dropped her bags when Molly hugged her tightly "hello my dear.." she spoke softly. Jesse gripped Molly tightly and closed her eyes.
They soon parted and Molly gave her a weak smile "you can stay in George and Fred's old room if you'd like" Jesse nodded and took her things up there and sat on George's bed.
She soon returned back downstairs and sat on one of the sofas in the living room. The weasley family plus Harry were sat discussing things whilst Jesse just sat there.
She didn't speak to anyone since Sirius' death. She was broken by it, she missed his hugs and he talks and how he hated George with a passion. Jesse looked down at her hands and tears fell down her cheeks.
Jesse excused herself from the living room and walked up to George and Fred's room, she laid down on George's bed and closed her eyes, allowing herself to cry silently into the pillow, it still smelt of him. Peppermints and a hint of gunpowder. It made her cry more.

A few hours later, Molly gently knocked on the door before allowing herself to walk in. She sat down on the bed and gave Jesse a smile "want some dinner?" She spoke softly. Jesse sniffled and sat up "okay.." she said quietly.
Molly nodded and stood up, walking out of the room with Jesse following. She wiped her eyes and sniffled before walking downstairs "hi Jesse" a familiar voice spoke, she glanced up and saw George sat down at the table.
He stood up and Jesse ran into his arms, hugging him tightly "let's eat okay?" He spoke as they both parted the hug and sat down to eat some dinner.
Jesse didn't eat much dinner but she did try her best as Molly was an amazing cook. Once dinner was over, her and George walked upstairs and into his old room. George sat down on the bed and Jesse sat next to him "I heard.. about Sirius" he said softly. Jesse nodded and hugged him tightly.
George held Jesse close and played with her hair "it's okay Jesse.." he spoke softly as Jesse cried slightly. She felt better in George's arms, she felt safe and happy.
