46- nasty burns

An: so this is the last Romania chapter! Which means we'll get more cuteness between Jesse and George again too!

It was Jesse's final week in Romania, she was heading home on the Saturday of the week. It was midweek and she was currently working with the welsh green and it was pretty mellow so far. Nothing too bad had happened and she even got to feed the dragon up close.

She was talking with Charlie as they walked back to the feeding area "so I think, since you're such a hard worker, you can work with a less mellow dragon tomorrow and Friday" Jesse gasped and looked at Charlie "really? Thanks Charlie!" She hugged Charlie tightly in excitement before letting go of him.

The rest of her day consisted of working in the welsh green enclosures and cleaning them, which wasn't her favourite job but she knew it had to be done. As she was cleaning them, the intern boy walked up to her and was helping her clean "so, when are you going home?" He asked her. "Um Saturday" she responded.

"Well would you like to go out for some coffee after work tomorrow?" Jesse smiled weakly "oh um, Sorry I have a boyfriend, back in England" she lied to him, not wanting to go out with him "oh really.. who is he" Jesse thought for a second "George.. George Weasley" she spoke and The boy titled his head "mister Charlie's brother?" Jesse nodded "yep you can even ask him yourself"

Jesse cursed herself as she walked away to find Charlie, she was going to beg him to lie for her. She found him and Tapped his shoulder "Charlie.. if this boy comes up to you and asks if George is my boyfriend. Say yes" Charlie chuckled slightly "so he finally asked you huh?" Jesse shook her head "no no no, I lied so I didn't have to go on a date with him" Charlie chuckled and nodded "sure I will".

She was thankful that Charlie agreed with her and hopefully wouldn't tell George about what happened. Luckily, she was leaving soon so she didn't have to worry about that Romanian boy and could get back to her English redheads back home.

It was friday and her second day of working with the Chinese fireballs. It was interesting and she had a good time, she was feeding one of them before..

The Chinese fireball squeezed and fire spewed out everywhere, a scream came from the enclosure as Jesse was engulfed by flames, she scrambled away from the fire and Charlie ran over to her and helped her out of the enclosure, he carried her to the infirmary and everything went black.

It had been a few hours and Jesse slowly opened her eyes, she winced from the pain that ran through her body and looked at her left arm, burns covering the majority of it. She looked over to her side and saw Charlie sat in a chair "Charlie.." she spoke quietly. He jumped up and looked at her "are you okay?" Jesse nodded slightly "yeah im okay.."

Charlie showed Jesse the rest of her burns, she had some on the side of her face and some of her hair had been burnt off "you know~ I kinda like this look" she said trying the lighten the mood, it looked like she had just shaved the side of her head and she kind of liked it.

She had some burns on her stomach which she only found when she got changed with the help of a lady nurse. She Would have to stay the night in the infirmary. Charlie went back home and said he would pack her things so they could head straight home the next morning. Luckily she got hurt on her last day so she wouldn't miss any of her internship. She just awaited the gasps and looks from everyone when she got back.
